- These days, major avionics upgrades include sourcing a new instrument panel to accommodate large flight displays. It's a pricey and time-consuming effort that many shops outsource or take a long time to do themselves. Texas-based Superior Aircraft Components has the process down to a science and not only design and produce high-quality custom panels, but the company pumps them out in an impressively short amount of time. Aviation Consumer Editor in Chief Larry Anglisano stopped by the Superior booth at Sun 'n Fun where company founder Kranston Kincaid talked through the process and showed off some impressive work.
I want to Commend this young man and his staff. They absolutely performed as stated in this video. The process was seamless , I approved the final design and layout on Monday the panel was on my doorstep on Wednesday. 2 days !!!!Packaging was bullet proof.
I can’t thank them enough. You will not be disappointed.
We need more go-getters in this country like this company.
$150ish dollars to go from entry level to top end is a no brainer when you are already at $2200 to start.

Fantastic Business Idea and Concept. Hopefully you guys are at Oshkosh as well. Take my order for my RV-14A shipped to me throughout the next 18 months as granted...to expand your business why not offering a one stop shop including interior stuff. Let's discuss it in Oshkosh...getting all the inside from one source seems another value-add you may can consider - maybe with a partner.

Very cool! One of the least expensive improvements that can make a huge difference in the appearance. How cool is that: send a pic of your panel and get a nice replacement for the cost of three Avgas fill ups!

Super cool. Not sure I fully understand the freedom I have to choose how my design/layout should look like - like where I want my screens and stuff... and usually a redesign would only make sense if some new components are added - and they need photos of the current panel - but I want an entirely new layout :). Still very cool and I will definitely request a quote.

Yeah great, everything except an engine that hasn’t changed in 50 years. G. A. Is dead, it just hasn’t been buried yet but the Chinese are working on it. Two motor companies, and one is now Chinese. The CMI motors are dropping like flys!
These are criminally overpriced.
You're welcomed to come up with something similar or better and sell it cheaper. Do not put a price on someone else's work. It is what it is, like it or not.
