Thanks for this...I am currently working on a "chrome delete" on my '21 Yukon Denali - it's the pearlescent white so the black accents really pop - it looks like a stormtrooper! Lol...I already replaced the side marker lights and the badging, and next is the door trim and the hatch "valence" on the back (where the GMC logo is). I am very much NOT a car guy, but I can do some things, so this was helpful. I'm ordering my fender emblems as we speak! I'm hoping you post videos about the door trim and hatch valence next. Great job! Subscribed!
Thank you for the kind words and thank you for subscribing. We almost got the Pearl White as well, love that color! The rear is most likely going to be done with gloss black vinyl. I’ve been researching trying to find the easiest way to take them off the vehicle but it’s super time consuming. I’m probably going to do the entire front ordering gloss black parts and vinyl the rest but we will see haha
@@BROCKgoFAST Well hell....lol thanks man. I really like that color. My old denali 2021 was black and I murdered it completely. Really like the blacked out look. That being said....Florida is not the best for it...dang its hot here..lol Thanks again for the info.
An easier way to do it is to slip a socket over (5mm?), then turn it (or just push) to compress the clips. A plastic trim tool would help, but DIY with that ya got. Put a piece of loose painters tape over if not covering it with your hand cause it will go flying. You going to do the black lettering?
Hey Brock, nice channel.. stumbled across your channel as i found an old vid of your STI on the gtx3576r and type RA vids. Long story short... I'm building my brand new subie with the newer garrett g30-770 but i'm going down the rabbit hole chasing power to around 650hp, I'm already about 12k in bolt on's only (ets turbo kit, cobb AP, catch cans, engine mounts, fmic, catback exhaust)....WITHOUT a built motor/transmission/fueling upgraded and I'm expecting another 15k-25k on top :( I see you went through some v8's and wanted some insight on whether you'd recommend me to just jump ship and get into a v8 rather than build a subie lol. Whatcha think? My v8 of choice is hard set on c6 grand sport, c6z06, or c7 grand sport. I'd be going some sort of boosted build if I got the c6gs (because I heard the ls3 on the gs loves boost), or just NA bolt on's for the c6z or c7gs. I love subaru's so much but my wallet tells me to just get a nice v8 and call it a day and move onto other things in life lol. Much appreciated if you can give me any advice!! Thanks!!
Hey thanks for watching! It really all depends on how you will be using the car. A 650whp AWD Subie is no joke and very fast. But you have to pay to play. As far as the V8 cars, I definitely love the power and grunt you get from them without having to mod. But I did use my cars for road racing at local tracks. The C6 Z06 is one of the best cars for the money right now and if you could swing a C7 Z06 you will be in love. The LT4 engine is an absolute monster and takes mods insanely well. But in the end it all depends on how you will be utilizing the car.
@@BROCKgoFAST the choice is even harder now! The c7z is such a nice car but the manuals are holding their value so well. They are like high 60s/70s still and that’s a bit more than what I wanna pay haha. I set my budget at low 50s. Seen some c7gs’s drop to like 52-54 now finally. For real! I also love how the LT4’s sound. I like how quickly they rev up and scream compared to the ls3 but I’d be happy with both. I still have a lot of thinking to do haha
@@BROCKgoFAST I used what I’ll call like a plastic pry bar, to get the emblem off the side of my Maverick, it came off, relatively easy. It did leave the clips behind. then I used my thumb and forefinger to pinch them, from in the opening and they just popped right out. I can’t seem to find the link to post a picture I would. I didn’t mean anything offensive on your post, sorry.
@@donaldredline975 oh no worries I didn’t take it negatively. Can’t use a plastic pry bar on these as you risk scratching a very expensive vehicle. Don’t want to break clips either, these prices can be re-sold
Thanks, because they’re not a lot of people that are making videos for the the new Yukon 🙏🏻💪🏻💯🔥n the truck looks good
Appreciate that. I’ve noticed it too
I like chromes . Its classic look
Plan on no chrome. Going to be getting rid of all of it to match the theme
Thank you! I'm working on my 2021 Denali chrome delete and this helps tremendously.
@@slimjim101675 awesome. Glad it helped!
Hey man! Love this video it made this process so easy! But do you happen to have a video for the back hatch emblem?
Thanks!! So the back emblem is on with double sided tape and you can take the gmc off but be prepared to make sure you get all the tap off.

Did you get the side markers black? Would you happen to know the part number? Or did you get it aftermarket?
@@WilFresco Side markers? I used tint on the front reflector
I just purchased a 2024 in forest green metallic and want to change the fender badges also. Having a hard time finding em...great video

@@Frostytravels hahaha yes black is tough color to have in Florida. Especially this summer!
Did you remove the (DENALI) letters on the side? Asking bc i know they make black overlays for the letters that would look good as well!
No I went ahead and got the OEM GMC Black side markers that come with the black lettering. More expensive but worth it
Did you ever finish the chrome delete?
Actually working on getting an appointment to get the window strips done. I have all the other parts in the garage

Yep I have all the black lettering and plan on delegating the chrome as well. I have all black plastics to replace the chrome
Is it the same for a gmc truck
Yes
