Hello from New Zealand. Thanks so much for this video. I am new to reloading and am about to purchase this exact kit. Very informative and helpful.

Great start to finish on a Lee setup. Or any setup. I don’t have the 50th, so I’m missing some of what that kit comes with. I am new to reloading, the kit I have is comparable, and saved this vid for future reference. Despite the differences in caliber and equipment, if you have half a brain, this vid will 100% get someone like me started successfully!! Thanks again. Liked, subbed, commented and shared. Keep up the great work, sir!

Im just getting into reloading. You explain the steps very well. I’m starting with shot shells first than to rifle and pistol.

You are the first person (perhaps the only person on youtube!) I have seen do a reloading video and use a chamfer/deburr tool correctly. I grit my teeth every time I watch a video and the publisher/videographer/youtuber shows how to chamfer and deburr...and they twist the tool back and forth repeatedly twisting the tool creating a sharp knife edge on the brass. I always want to chime in and tell these "professional" reloaders the things they are doing wrong, but I always refrain as it only starts arguments. It's amazing to watch some of these folks that have quadrillions of dollars worth of machine and tool, yet have no knowledge of the proper use of the majority of it. I don't even want to get started about the folks using case trimmers...I've seen so many people using them incorrectly.

Thank you. I know what you mean. I get attacked all the time for doing it wrong. 😂

@@redneckreloader No doubt especially with all the newer hand/re-loaders created by the last "pandemic"! :) anyway IDK if you're into muzzleloading guns, but speaking on the unique lube, I swear I think it's simply a blackpowder patch lubricant with a different natural oil base scent. I substituted different patch lubes for case lubes back in the 90's to test the theory and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I use more unique lube than any other because I think the scent is pleasant, but I do use all other types as well. BTW the LEE lube is what is used industrially for drawing brass amongst other metals so it's highly unlikely to get a stuck case with it as long as it's present whether wet or dry. I like it too, but like yourself unique is my go to.

RR, Thank you for the intro to the 50th anniversary kit. I’d also like to thank you for the tips and advice you provided. I’m new to reloading, and it is nice to get honest unbiased insight to the equipment that I’m considering.

Good afternoon. I've recently started loading for the 7.62x39. I'm using Accurate 2200. I'm 1/10th over max. 2300fps out of 16" ruger ranch bolt gun. That's with a 123 gr Hornaday sst

Thank you! I’ve never tried accurate 2200, I’ll have to give it a try

I'm gonna get into reloading later this year and you just did my press kit, cal and apparently the same type of freedom seed spitter too. I want to get with someone in my club to run me through the steps before I dive in, but watching this one, I could almost just start loading. I won't. I want to develope some SP hunting loads for Maine bambi, btw.
    Thanks and Subbed ya.

    Greetings friend.
    1) Your bullet pulling tool is a pair of needle nose plyers, not "vise grips".
    And
    2) Your Needle nose plyers might work better if you grip the bullet from horizontal angle, braced agianst the top of the press.
    Safe Loading,
    😊

You try any Hornady sst? If I were to buy dies and mess with it, I would wan't to try to come up with some hunting loads. What barrel you go with for your build?

I used a bear creek arsenal upper. 16” with a 1:10 twist if I remember correctly
