Thank you so much for this video. My Great Grand Uncle, Parley Alger Parker, was a Gilsonite miner at Dragon and then the Rainbow mines in the early 1900s. He died at Rainbow at the age of 54 from heart failure in 1925. I am researching his life in honor of my father who passed away in 1998 and worked so hard to trace his ancestry. Parley was a life long bachelor and had homesteaded a property near where Tent Creek and Rat Hole Canyon roads intersect. The County of Uintah was kind enough to provide me the location based on the legal description. He lived and worked that property for approximately 10 years. It is located approximately 23 miles and 1 1/2 hours South of Dragon. The satellite view appears to possibly show some building remnants, although I guess they could be large stones. It looks like it is in the middle of nowhere. I'm wondering if you might ever explore that area and if it would be possible for you to take drone footage of the property and any remnants. I would like to see if we could work out an arrangement. I appreciate your time and wonderful videos. Interestingly, Parley Parker was a cousin of Butch Cassidy. I look forward to hearing from you. What would cause it to form? Why in such straight lines? I need to read about it
