Great video, lighting and angle. Heads-up if you notice at 11:38 in the brake line rubbing on the upper a arm, flip the clamp opposite so it's not touching. Mine wore thru, a nightmare to replace. Four hoses connected together.
Thanks for the video, I've replaced this on my renegade and I'm getting ready to do my outlander. If I had to make any suggestion, it's to heat up the bolts on the steering assembly, can am uses lock tight and I busted one of these trying to take it out. I little heat will save you a big headache
Dang it Marshall I have the same quad and I feel like I have 48 hours of repairs now. I was wondering about that grease nipple imagine first grease job snapping it lol. My atvs are done for the season plow will be going on after I dump the 100 pounds of mud in the skid plates
Great looking part I want one and about time someone got better bushings for that. You need another set of bushings for the top been there done that only want to do it once what a pain. How's your buddy doing after his accident
Was the original pitman arm greased from the factory? I'm thinking if they're not, it would be an opportunity for an early service in order to get more life out of the original unit.
Thanks@@LetDirtFly. I'll be getting an Outlander Max in Novermber after a five month wait. This is clearly one of the first items to service besides confirming all the zerks have been greased.
@@BIGSCOTTY732 thanks for the input I’ll beef it up on my 2020 650 xmr and might as well do the the same to my wife’s 850xt because we did add True 28 mud lite 2

"squeakiest steering I've ever heard in my life" - Understatement of the century HAHA
Nice detail with the install! I will be getting one of those myself

Shawn is home and doing much better. Thanks for asking.
I would upgrade but looks like they don't make them for 2015 outlander
What about the top portion of the steering column is that part still gonna make noise????
It still will unless you change out to Jay Parts upper bushings

The original is not and there's no way to add a fitting I believe

How’s it holding up?
Awesome! Hasn’t budged and I’m on 32s now. Been doing a lot of trail riding with rocks, etc. and it’s still as tight as the day I installed it.
@@LetDirtFly putting my order in, I’m so tired of this slopppy steering on my renegade, thinking about doing the stem to
My 2020 is getting loose on steering now I don’t see any play on the tie rod assembly so I’ll be looking into pitman arm
@@Chris-no8qi I ended up doing it since this post, thing is awesome man
