I have couple Renegade XMR1000r’s and a 2021 Outlander XXC1000R. Both Renegade XMRs are clutched and felt stronger (mostly down low) than the XXC did with stock clutching. But, I installed an Icon primary with silver secondary spring and now the XXC runs harder in all ranges. Good to have both, don’t sell it! Lol

Are the mounting plates specific to each atv brand?

That reverse cable spring had been very difficult for me to install, I don’t really understand how to do it correctly so that I can put the crank case cover back on. Any tips? The camera angle doesn’t show it.

I bought a Can-Am quad for cheap because someone put sand where the dipstick sits, and they didn’t run the quad. I did a bunch of flushes and got most of the sand out. At this point, what do you guys think? Should it be okay to run it or should I disassemble the motor?

XXC has a higher gear ratio, so they definitely get on up and go with speed. They’re awesome machines and fun to rip around on!

I really wish I had a 1000cc I’ve got a 2017 brute force 750 and it’s been down for over a year now basically since I got it. The previous owner bent the frame on the left front an arm and my tire rubs even with floorboards for more clearance. I haven’t had the money to fix it and it sucks I want to go riding

Demon ducky had issues with the engine wire harness. After fiddling with wire after wire, I just decided to replace the harness. It’s just way easier to deal with and use the old harness as parts. Glad you got it running again!

Got the exact same unit, 2018 1k xxc. It’s a blast to ride, y’all will love it. In my opinion the best all around quad can am makes. The fox rc2 shocks are excellent, 1k engine already paired with the large gearbox, nimble short frame, full aluminum skids all the way up to the pre runner bumper, and full fender coverage with racks. Super potent trail runner or mud runner on the weekends and a workhorse when you need it.

Pretty awesome you got it running! I remember the electrical problems with my 850 and what a nightmare that was. Ended up junking the original engine wire harness and she fired right up.
