Relative to Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene imo , and especially Lemon Tart by Theodoros Kalotinis . I do like Bake , but to be honest i do prefer both Unknown Pleasures and Lemon Tart SOTD is Inside Out by The Gate Fragrances Paris
i'm looking for a lemon dominant fragrance to bring a fresh vibe throughout yet not too tart and sour in an overpowering way. would this one fit in there, how would you describe it ?
I was completely mesmerised when I smelled Bake for the first time. It’s a beautiful scent and people are intrigued when they smell it. It almost goes a bit smoky in a dry down for me. It’s addictive and full bottle worthy for sure.
@@freddykruger8229 Well, it’s slightly feminine leaning but if you layer it with some masculine leaning vanilla for example I think you will smell incredible. It’s a kind of fragrance that makes people stop and ask you what you are wearing if you know what I mean.
I got familiar with Oliver Cresp early in my fragrance journey when I was buying his cheapies from Mercedes-Benz, but he does an amazing job at creating reasonably priced, accessible perfumes. Glad to see, he’s keeping it in the family!
I adore Akro Bake but was astounded by Awake. It’s like a complete breakfast with hints of coffee, maple syrup and aromatics reminiscent of breakfast sausage. I laughed with joy when I smelled it on my skin. It’s the smell that would wake me from my sleep on the weekends when my mom was cooking breakfast. Now I want to explore the entire Akro line.
Wow I cannot wait to try all three gourmand scents by Akro. Thank you for such a fantastic video! I adore cardamom coffee and would like to smell a lemony scent that’s not so green and cleaning suppliesish

How would you say Bake compares to Kerosene's Unknown Pleasures? Got my nose on Bake a while ago and it seems pretty similar, minus the earl grey tea note.

The thing is I’ve been looking for a coffee fragrance for years and everyone say that akro awake is the most realistic coffee scent but I don’t like cardamom so idk

Bake is the first Akro scent I’ve tried, and I love how the lemon is the star but also fully supported by the other notes. A great summery fragrance!

I can see the smokiness and I get that from the bitterness of the lemon zest.

Dark and Awake are delicious. The way Cresp does gourmands is magic, so it would only make sense that I need to sample Bake

I ordered a 30ml, it’s delicious but I have so many sweet, citrus/vanilla combos, so although it’s delicious it’s a bit redundant.

I wonder how a layering of Smoke and Naxos would be: say, one hit of Smoke on the chest and then, after dry, one hit of Naxos overtop. Overkill?

Huge differences, I’d say. I love Bake but had to wash off Unknown Pleasures. I love popcorn but don’t want smell like it 😊

Ink is a very unique vetiver. Rubber/Leather/Smoky! :)

Yes, and no to me. The lemon, and this is a bit Sharpe and pine, like very bitter compared to the sweetness of the lemon, in unknown pleasures. 😀
Awake is my fave and defo the best from the house. Dark is second. The rest are strong trash
