      This is the intellect that true believers gain: understanding the purpose of life and the significance of repentance. Islam is the only religion where one can truly find repentance, and because of this, it always challenges great minds. Otherwise, people will be lost in sins, crimes, recklessness, and immoral behavior, which will increase the crime rate among human beings. It is also the only way to true freedom, as believers are difficult to control or deceive. It is the only solution that has ever existed. When Muslims prostrate to God in prayer, they speak to Him directly, making du'a (supplication) and reflecting on their behavior to seek forgiveness. This is the only way human beings can truly change.
      We say this to Allah:
      "Prostration is the most beautiful remedy for the heart's peace, as we draw closer to our Creator. It soothes our hearts by bringing us closer to Him, believing in Him, entrusting our affairs to Him, and having certainty that God is with us, managing our affairs, and believing in fate. This is true tranquility. Glory be to You, my Lord, You who forgive us for what our hands have done and what they have left undone.
      Purity of heart comes from faith in Allah Almighty and drawing closer to Him. It leads you onto the path of light, the path of truth, and rational thinking only comes through nearness to Allah Almighty. O Allah, keep us steadfast on the straight path and do not let us stray in this world, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, we are in a state of "temporary consciousness", unable to comprehend how You created or came into existence. How then can we not believe in Your greater consciousness, You who created us? O Allah, we praise and thank You, our Lord, in times of ease and hardship. If our meeting with You is near, hasten our meeting with Your noble countenance, may we be forgiven as repentant souls. O Allah, amen."
      Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If your hearts were pure, you would never be satisfied with the recitation of the words of your Lord." Here, he refers to the Quran.
      God watches everything; He is the Almighty, unlimited compared to our imagination. He sees the oppressors, our sins, and everything.
      God commands us to feed the poor, and in the Quran, He emphasizes that disbelievers do not encourage people to feed the poor.
      "We are Down To the earth", because we are nothing without god.
      "From God we belong, and to Him is our return" (Surah Al-Baqarah).

    The Divine has appeared in many forms to different peoples. In fact, I would argue that it has generally been the polytheistic religions that have been the most tolerant and enlightening. All the good things we enjoy in Western Civilization are rooted in classical Hellenism. Where monotheistic faith predominates you tend to find intolerance to other spiritual paths and oppression of one form, or another.

    I agree with you that the message of islam is nothing of novelty. But the quran is too ambiguous to be the word of God, not to mention the verses that don't make sense, or the verses that promote f'd up things, and this is coming from a muslim. I doubt that quran is the word of God. The quran presents God as an angry, narcissistic and infantile entity. He's attributed to being "the most merciful", yet he's not that at all. There are abrogated verses in the quran, which implies that God can't make up his mind. The ahadeeth of muhammad represent him as a perverted sand warlord. I could go on but I don't want to drag this out. If the God of islam is my creator, why has he not guided me? Or perhaps he has "blinded my heart" so he can torture me forever? And no, I'm not going to "just believe bro", as that would make me no different than other religious people.

    • @T4ffynxnja
      @T4ffynxnja 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You've either not read the Qur'an, or have extremely poor comprehension skills. It's OK to ponder, the Qur'an encourages this because else, you lead up to this. For now, I'll deal with the initial point of the Qur'an being ambiguous. It's fair to say that you do not know what you're talking about. In fact, for you to understand the sheer stupidity of this statement, I've had Islamophobes try disprove Islam to me by claiming that the Qur'an is too "Black and white" to be the word of God...
      It's fair to say universally, with the both the opponents and proponents of Islam, you simply do not know / have not read the Qur'an. As an objective measure, it's the clearest least ambiguous religious text, heck text of all time.
      Now, if you bring evidence for any of your other claims, maybe we can address them. imo, you've just been liberalised (don't take offense).

    • @bloxcodemania5015
      @bloxcodemania5015 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For your first point of the Qu'ran portraying God as an "angry, narcissistic and infantile entity", you should provide evidence for this. However as a general comment, I will say that the people of Makkah at the time of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ oppressed the believers a lot, killing them and even attempted to assassinate the Prophet ﷺ. Should these horrifying actions not be addressed in a harsh manner?
      For the point of Allah (swt) not being the most Merciful, I'm not sure where you get that (as you see the opposite of that in 39:53, "Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.") But like I said earlier, the people of Makkah were committing many crimes like murdering the believers, so if they didn't repent then why shouldn't they be punished?
      For the abrogated verses point, let's take the example of alcohol. Before the Qur'an was revealed, many people in Makkah were alcoholics. To make it easy for them to accept Islam, Allah (swt) slowly changed the ruling of the alcohol from:
      1. "They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit." " [2:219]
      2. "O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying" [4:43]
      3. "O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful." [5:90] (Thus making it prohibited)
      Therefore, making the religion easy for the people was one of the reasons why verses were abrogated.
      For the ahadeeth point, please provide some evidence, but before you do, make sure to research the topic with an open-mind beforehand as I'm not here to argue with you, but rather to spread the message.
      For your last point of God not guiding you, that can be understood from this verse “Verily, Allaah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allaah)” [al-Ra’d 13:11].
      Before you leave this comment, I just want to ask you to go to a knowledgeable person, and learn Islam that way, because then you can find in sha Allah why Islam is the true religion.
      Thank you for reading this.

      From what I see, you had questions for a while and over the time your initial perception became your conclusion. Islam appreciates clarity, which is why ask questions to the individuals who can answer you. May Allah guide you.

    • @sorlag2496
      @sorlag2496 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On the narcissim of God in the quran: Simply put, God created us to worship him, even though he doesn't need us. And should we disobey, we'll be punished severely. Now, what I fail to grasp is since he doesn't need us, why does he tell us to praise and worship him otherwise we'll suffer eternal damnation? "Worship me so I don't punish you for eternity" Which means that God's love is conditional.
      And why does he get so upset over someone not believing in him when the only proof of him is an old book, even if the person in question is a person of good deeds? Also, in the quran, God and satan share some common ground such as being deceitful "Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment (2:7)". Forgive me if I've gone off track, there's just so many errors I want to cover.
      " the people of Makkah at the time of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ oppressed the believers a lot" I don't see what you're trying to say here, but yes, they deserve punishment as murder is the worst of all crimes, against both God and humanity.
      As for God's mercy, no, the quran explicitly says that God will condemn to hell whoever doesn't believe in him. The verse you've provided talks about those who believe in him, not humanity as a whole,. And here are many verses that invalidate the verse you've provided “What has landed you in Hell?” They will reply, We were not of those who prayed (74:42-43)" God will punish those who don't pray, and in islam it's considered a sin greater than murder. Again, God's love is conditional, which is definitely not the highest form of love.
      The law of abrogation still implies that God can't make up his mind. If, as you say, islam gradually prohibited the consumption of alcohol, why didn't God outlaw slavery as it was prevalent in pre-islamic arabia? There's no wisdom in slavery, and God could've made it easier for people to accept islam. Also, the verse "(109:6) To you your religion and to me my religion" is also abrogated by a verse that states the opposite.
      Concerning the ahadeeth, I've come across many ahadeeth that vary from questionable to utterly absurd, a majority of which were accepted by scholarly consensus. Thighing prepubescent childbrides, the sun prostrating under God's throne, the islamic theory of genetics, lynching apostates and the list goes on. And just to be clear, I'm a man of facts. I merely want to seek the truth.
      "For your last point of God not guiding you, that can be understood from this verse “Verily, Allaah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allaah)” [al-Ra’d 13:11]. " Unfortunately, according to the quran, my fate is sealed and God will send me to hell for not "just believing his word and the word of his messenger".
      Thank you for responding, I really appreciate it.
