Story time: I was playing multiplayer with a US army guy. We met randomly on the mic, and we hit it off talking about the game. The Dark Knight had come out so we were raving how freaking good that was. He said he'd been drinking all day. It was a public holiday, had the day off. We started talking about other games, Medal of Honor, which was based in Afghanistan. He said that campaign made him cry at the end, reminded him of a friend he lost in combat. We added each other on Xbox and said we'd play again. Some days later I invited him to another GR game. We started playing together and the vibe wasn't there. I started bringing up our old conversation but he didn't remember. He barely remembered how we met. It was sad, but I'll always remember our time together, I really appreciated his honesty with me.

I have been playing Ghost Recon since Advanced Warfighter came out. I remember GRAW 2 having 2 different versions (1 for PC and the other for Xbox with completely different POVs). PC was FPS and Xbox was TPS. Man, what days! I am currently playing breakpoint with a friend and I seriously hope Ubisoft continues to make these.
every year i think about this game and how even in Breakpoint and Wildlands, you still see the soul of this game buried deep within it. It absolutely needs to come back.
This takes me way back to my Xbox 360 era 😅 we played countless hours with my buddy in local co-op in that horde mode (can't remember the name right now). We mastered nearly all the maps (50 levels on each) but one 😢 too bad, my old 360 died from RRoD..
Advanced Warfighter and this game where my go too back in the day. I am still waiting for a new Splinter Cell game lol. If you search Ghost Recon Alpha it is a short film by Ubisoft on TH-cam, that was an incredible piece of work. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
I remember I picked this up on steam during a sale, maybe a couple years after its release. The campaign co-op was a blast, definitely the most "action movie" of the series for the time. The multiplayer on PC...was bugged and broken to shit; I couldn't even play it for a few months because the servers were garbage. You couldn't even play the DLC maps unless it was a custom game. It also had a few hackers here and there. At the worst of times, it was unplayable; at the best it was kind of buggy. I think I remember reading somewhere that the PC MP (and perhaps the entire port) was given to a very small Ubisoft team in Ukraine. Even through all that, I still sunk over 200 hours into it. There was a moment in time they'd fix the game well enough you didn't have too many problems. The player count was so small that I'd notice I played 10 separate games with the same 4-5 players; we'd sometimes notice and call each other out, shit talking most of the time (though most weren't the "friendliest"). I remember you could dive roll to the side in the game (ADS + double space + A or D I think), I'd roll out of cover quickly and shoot down enemies to surprise them or get me out of a kill funnel. Me and a friend played against a hacker who had wall hacks and super speed but didn't have aimbot, so he'd be sprinting from a mile away and be mowed down by our LMGs. Sneaking around as the recon, disrupting enemy equipment as the Engineer, laying suppression as the Assault. This game is on a list of others for being the most bugged/broken thing ever, but I still had an absolute blast playing.
Future Soldiers movement to cover, tactical sprint and gunsmith; with Wildlands type setting and campaign/story, missions, rebel support and enemy types; and Breakpoints graphics, customization(although expanded) some of the weapons and equipment, and they could make one great ass 3rd person open world tactical shooter.
Im glad I got to enjoy this game during its prime because it sure is difficult finding anything as good now days. There are some small community servers running the game thankfully.

This game was so ahead of its time it's literally the same system they used for the division 1 & 2. This games gunsmith started gunsmith for any shooting game even cod. The gunsmith features on here could over gas/under gas, semi auto, auto, and match grade triggers, all camos, plus multiple attachments AS WELL a true 3 class system from Assault, Engineer, and Scout. The online multiplayer was phenomenal. This is the one game I wish Ubisoft would remaster it make a 2nd follow up game. This campaign was so fire and the Guerilla mode where you and 3 other friends went against Waves of AI was tip their horde mode in my honest opinion
I still jump in and play every now and then it's such a great game . Good to see you on it. Imagine them making one now with the graphics they have now , oooooooohhh that would be good to play . Well at least well still got the originals to play
There were 3 fantastic things about this game, now there's just 2. Anyway the campaign was amazing, especially the challanges. Such a varied campaign i've never seen before. And the guerilla mode. YES the cherry on top and i LOVE it. Makes you think ahead of time, especially when you're alone, where to out the claymores, what guns to use and all that Rip the multiplayer tough, will be missed

To this day this is my favorite ghost recon game, this was such a good title, with amazing online. I miss these days
I remember my friend got two copies of this for the 360. He ended up letting me borrow it for 3 years. Good dude.
Spec-Ops The Line is a CLASSICA
Glad there are others who appreciate this masterpiece, this was one of those games that made up my childhood
14:20 "you can do that?" caught me off guard
This takes me way back to my Xbox 360 era 😅 we played countless hours with my buddy in local co-op in that horde mode (can't remember the name right now). We mastered nearly all the maps (50 levels on each) but one 😢 too bad, my old 360 died from RRoD..
the horde mode was tough. good times.
Guerilla I think it was called?
it was guerilla. i never played it all that much since i didnt really have anyone to play with. mp was a fucking blast tho
I love these games you're going back to and shedding light on Tomo!
Maaan I rebought this game a few years ago and this was peak Ghost Recon. Absolutely excellent.
Back in the days.. Tom Clancy Rouge Spear.. Raven Shield.. one of my fave game.. Ooh and Desert Siege..
Greatest of them all no lie
That's really true. This game was underrated and was much more advanced with combination of classic warfare. Miss this game a lot.
Loved this game! The weapon customisation was insane too!
i want a full gameplay for this tomo
and the multiplayer was infested with f2000's and underbarrel grenade launchers hahahaha but it was a banger
I've played the story at least 2 times solo and 2 times coop. Gun customizer was mind blowing for me
I've played this game twice and every single time, it gave me chills. This game was fantastic. Still have the PC version
"BOOM" he says with his BOOMing bri'ish voice lol
BOOM 👹
I also loved Ghost recon advanced warfighter as well
The details in that game was ahead of its time
Just grabbed GFS for PC a few months ago and man it's still fun. It's like being back there. Good times. Most fun I've had in a while.
This game was a such a vibe with its semi future yet grounded combat aesthetic if that makes sense.
One of my favourite games of all time this game is just a master piece, loved this game so much
Future Soldiers movement to cover, tactical sprint and gunsmith; with Wildlands type setting and campaign/story, missions, rebel support and enemy types; and Breakpoints graphics, customization(although expanded) some of the weapons and equipment, and they could make one great ass 3rd person open world tactical shooter.
This game was so much fun. I've always loved advanced warfighter 2 the best, but future soldier was definitely my second favorite.
Im glad I got to enjoy this game during its prime because it sure is difficult finding anything as good now days. There are some small community servers running the game thankfully.
I just love your voice, it is so right and calming :D Keep on, good work !
Thanks! 🥰
MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I love watchin you play games like diZ!!!!!!!
The first mission where you transport the VIP during a gunfight HITS SO HARD.
I love this game. I remember spending a lot if time customizing my loadout. Played the game in all difficulties. Damn i miss Ghost Recon Future Soldier
GRFS multiplayer is still one of my favorites of all time. Sure I love COD, BF, GoW etc… but man still havent played anything like this till this day.
The first ever ghost recon that i played was back in 2004 Ghost Recon jungle storm I don’t know if some of you know this game i played it on ps2 and in my opinion one of the best game ever if you don’t know just search it up BTW keep making good vids Tom i love your vids
Great vid. Used to play GR Phantoms with a guy I met in game from Egypt. Games gone, friendship hasn’t. 😁
Bro I used to play this game when I was younger and forgot about it for years this game was amazing
Dangit you made me want to play it again 😭 Used to play it a-kajillion times when I was younger, collecting all the weapons.
This replaced my socom addiction after Confrontation I loved this game and being able to customize your weapon in detail was amazing
MY MOST FAVOURITE GAME. The Game Mechanics , comms, combact, tech and overall gameplay experience was really ahead of it's time.
Loved playing ghost recon on my psp back in the day, also Logans shadow syphon filter
Forgot how much I miss this game! What a gem
Makes you think ahead of time, especially when you're alone, where to out the claymores, what guns to use and all that
Rip the multiplayer tough, will be missed
Bro I need help how to install original param SFO
I was amazed how very smooth the 3rd person shooter controls and even the mechanics are in this game.
I bought this specifically for the PS Move compatible on the cover. I was a fan of Killzone 3 with the move controller so why not. Future Soldier only allowed Move controls in the menu…. So I played it and was having the time of my life. Also 7:59 is overlord Dempsey from Call of Duty: World At War?
