Paige, Winston : as a cat sailor for over 60 years and a Master Sailmaker and having once owned the largest sailoft in New England specializing
in Multihull sails and tramps for thousands of cats , I disapprove of the artificial turf being on the tramps while you sail should a wave brake
over the ow it could cause the boat to pitch pole or do weight loading that could cause structural loading ! FYI

That's a fair point, however we don't see ourselves heading into weather sufficient enough to cause such an issue while we have Winston (our dog) aboard. He does love the turfs and they drain extremely quickly and well.

Tip of the day. Take a bar of soap 🧼 and rub it over your zippers and it will work better and last longer.
What a difference it made on our boats 🚢 Eisen glass zippers. It was way easier to zip and unzip them.

Note : As a sailmaker ,I do not approve of sewing the cover materials on the sail leech as it distorts the set and burdens the leech . Additionally: it's easier to replace a hoisted cover and MUCH CHEAPER !
p Syou never informed me if you are coming up to Pamlico Sound , specifically to Washington where I can offer you portage/ dockage

I don't think we planned on sewing anything onto the sail? The leech is clear of the bag at this point so we just need to sew the band back to it's original position in order to secure the zipper slide.
And, as many sailors will attest, our plans are currently written in the sand at low tide! We will keep your generous offer in mind if we head up that way.

The skirt actually has shorts underneath so any concern of modesty is ill placed. As for dangerous? Not exactly sure how it would be any different than any other clothing?

The pearl necklace, while real pearls, are the affordable sort, so if they do get lost during unexpected conditions it's ok. Besides it's just a thing and things break. Not sure what you are referring to by "rock"? Could be a translation error?
