I've had this DLC since it came out and have only had 2 of the five maps come up over and over. Also if you like getting shot in the back repeatedly then you'll love Bespin. Great video as always Otaku.
The design of Cloud City could have been done better, all other levels have the teams spawning directly opposite each other this one feels much less direct in how teams approach each other which is to the levels detriment
I'm really enjoying the new DLC. Sabotage is now one of my favorite modes... The EE-4 is a great edition and we finally have enough variety of cards available that the load out options are vast, taking team strategy to another place. It would be nice to see the blue dot replaced above the team members head with some kind of load out indicator (Maybe assigning a color to each load-out option and seeing the three different colors as dots above instead?). The game has become more chaotic with the patch and I think it's for the better, although, yes, as always, there will have to be a few tweaks (which Otaku covered nicely). As always an awesome video with lots of information. I also like hearing your opinion since I usually agree with you. Does anyone else think the thing that pops up when berserker trait activates is extremely distracting/and or annoying? I stopped using it just because it would pop up too often in a big battle. Plus, I'm glad you put everything into one video with all the info instead of some other battlefront youtubers who I believe are trying to get as many views as possible by splitting it into like 20 different videos that are in reality two minutes long but have ten minutes of just gameplay that we've all seen...
Thanks dude and yeah...not a lot of quality battlefront youtubers out there. A lot of the big names don't even play the game but get invited to events, while others are so bad at it that they don't know up from down, but get tons of views with their half ass click bait videos.
i agree with EVERYTHING you pointed out. The ee-4 is definetely the best part of the dlc as it guarantees kills (as showed in your video at 6:59) even from really long distances. I just hope they make everything better in the next 2 dlc's

I believe using the Adrenaline Stim counteracts the shock grenade. If you have it activated, it's supposed to prevent any stun. At least that's what the dev notes stated.
Thank you! Someone with some sense! I must say that I agree with almost everything you said. Some things I have no comment over, or I love even though I know I shouldn't. An example is the pulse cannon. Before, skillful pulse cannon users could easily snipe me, and that'd be that. But, with this big glory green thing, I just duck and I live. It's horrible to those poor pulse cannon users, but to a guy on the receiving end of pulse cannons too many times, I love it (sorry). Heroes vs Villains was the most disappointing of all, but I hope that after everything is released there will be one playlist of all the dlcs, with 14v14. On a seperat topic, I would love a Dengar video, as for the life of me I can't seem to do anything with him! I just run in and get killed because I have such low health! Sometimes I feel like Luke can survive longer than Dengar without his trait. And his trait goes up so slowly that you need to get a kill, than have other people sitting there for you to also kill, than finally have a hero waiting for you. Well, sorry for the long post. Love your videos so much!
To escape a shock grenade, you can turn on your shield. Oddly enough, I was able to cancel it by using adrenaline stim. It kept playing the shocking sound until I died a few minutes later, but I was able to escape. I don't think that was intended. As far as the bacta bomb changes go, people who are overhealed can now be one shotted by force push and saber rush, which is a great fix because Luke was almost useless before because of it.
I think Luke should be able to 1 shot with regular light saber swings. He doesn't have anywhere near the amount of health to tank people while putting out multiple swings.
I totally agree with you about kill assist change. Its so dumb. They should just add another column with assists listed just like in League of Legends.
I absolutely agree with YOUR view of the assists counting as kills. It's stupid and I never know the difference between the people I have killed and the people I haven't. They should definitely just add anther column for assists.

Otaku I agree with you on the partner system, countless times people have stolen at-at, at-st and one time a hero card just by jump packing in front of me. Anyway thanks for the videos and I want to encourage you to do a "How to Not Suck" with Dengar.
Overall I think this DLC was very sloppily done. I am enjoying it, I think the game modes are good and the new star cards are...interesting. But there are some things that are just inexcusable. So much stuff that should have been checked and altered before it was released, the game feels broken almost. Sloppy and lazy work DICE, I'm glad they've got plenty of fixes coming. Heroes vs villains in Bespin would be a problem because if someone purchased Bespin and not Outer Rim, then that person might be left with only Nien Nunb or Greedo, and couldn't pick them, giving the other team the advantage of having more heroes
If they were gonna buff weapons, then they should really focus on the Outer Rim ones. The DT-12 and Rebly are fun to use, but hard to get kills with, along with the DLT-19X and DL-18. But maybe thats just me.
I feel like DICE isn't even trying to balance weapons, they just nerfed everything to hell. Most of the old guns take so many hits to kill someone now and feel very underpowered aside from a couple I can't remember the names to right now. I guess you gotta just keep toying around with the new weapons until that patch those too, and then move on again to the newer dlc's weapons lol
What's up, Otaku? First of all, really nice job with this guide. Very thorough & helpful. And I may be wrong, but I don't think you mentioned that your star cards will also recharge faster if you are standing near an objective. Also, what do you think about the big changes to Droid Run and Drop Zone (only the Bespin version of Drop Zone)? I hated the new Droid Run at first but I'm getting the hang of it now.
Yes I forget to mention that. I will talk about it in another video. I like the concept of the new drop zone but my effects as an individual are greatly reduced. Normally I could win games almost single handed, now I have to fight way too many enemies and can capping a pod is worth much less to the team.
OTAKU Drop Zone is definitely a new experience now. I found that if we get off to a good lead I was sometimes able to find somewhere up high and mow down the opponents as they rush to the pods. Love Scout trait.
Excellent breakdown, while I like keeping close to your partner to lower cool down times and work together I hadn't considered to ramifications for someone using scout trait having their location given away by a partner using berserker. I personally use berserker now but I prefer to spawn on my partner to lower cool downs then head off on my own.
+OTAKU the levels of this DLC are beautiful but I hope they fix up the issues there, disappointed in the reliance on Hutt contracts as well, hate grinding through tedious chores when we used to be able to buy blasters through credits earnt. Disruption and the shock grenades are going to get aggravating fast and Lando is disappointing as a hero. Can't see myself getting the x-8 as a weapon either. EE-4 looks good though. Great looking DLC, but the content is a mixed bag
They can't have a five vs five heroes versus villains because those who only bought the bespin dlc, and not the season pass or the outer rim dlc, can't play as Greedo or Nien, with other words, if one team doesn't have anyone with outer rim dlc, the game would be unfair. They could have done a four vs four heroes vs villains though, but I feel like most people would have been disappointed if it wasn't a five vs five.
That's why they just make the hero count exactly the same as outer rim. Just because we have more heroes and they increased the game count for the last DLC, doesn't mean they have to for this one.

I agree with the kill assist thing especially when you get a ton of kills and it shows up as 10 less in the final screen. Another thing I hate is being switched teams when you are in a party. I try to play with my brother but we always end up on different teams.

I think its value went up for its use to counter disruption, but man do I suck with it! Also, do you know if the SE-14C got nerfed? I can't seem to get one shot kills anymore.
Thanks Chris. I will put out the cycler rifle video pretty soon. The SE-14C should be the same, if you are not getting 1 shot kills then it's because your full burst isn't hitting the target or they are running bacta/zerker combo.
The EE-4 is a little too much, it's definitely a tad OP. Probably need to nerf the number of shots before overheating a bit. Hopefully they don't nerf it into the ground, because it's a fun weapon to use.
Unfortunately we kinda know what they are likely to do...just look what they did with the bowcaster and homing shot...just hope they don't do it to the EE-4...
Has anyone else been feeling like they've gotten WAY MORE kill assists since the horrible new change? I'm getting like as many kill assists as kills. So many times I SEE MYSELF kill the guy and it says assist. It's really pissing me off.
Lando is good in regular games but can't really do much in HvsV. Villains don't trigger the shock trap, the disruption is useful but has a really long wind up for some reason. The charge shot is okay, it is pretty much a worse version of Leia's bane bolts though and it makes me not even want to use it because one can't use his other abilities while it is active. But yeah I get what you are saying Lando pmuch automatically loses to Vader, Boba and Greedo 1vs1.
They should add Heroes and villains as a seperate playlist on Bespin. Because the Bespin playlist has 32 players, it would be ridiculous to have that many players on HvV

Use it if you can sometime, it's a bit trickier to place it because one can only throw it half the distance of a normal grenade. It also has the longest cooldown of any starcard.

That little rant you go on from 11:50 to 12:10 was soo hilarious, and soo true. I was going to have a 6 man kill feed with a Smart Rocket on the objective, only for my partner to spawn in front of me and cause me to kill myself.
yes, they should've added HvV!! best game mode!! also i hate that they made it 3 rounds in Outer Rim. I LOVE 4 v 4. i understand people saying it could take too long with draws but i think the sweet spot for length would be 4 rounds instead of the 3 because then everyone can play the hero at least twice. so pissed about what they did
From what I can tell, cloud cars are flying gas cans. I shot down two of them in a single round using a pulse rifle. Comparing a cloud car to an xwing is like comparing a police car to an F-14, since cloud cars are basically a civilian police vehicle.
Well cloud cars were never meant to be spacecraft like the X-Wing. You said it yourself, they are basically civilian police vehicles and peoples expectations of them are skewed.
+OTAKU agreed. Inter-atmospheric civilian patrol craft. Shooting one with the pulse rifle is equal to shooting a ford crownvictoria police car with a .50 cal Barrett. It would royally screw it up.
The bowcaster change is in my opinion a great one, because previously I barely managed to get any kills with it, and I just felt plain dumb. I do admit, the Pulse Cannon change is quite bad, because it's a sniper rifle, and sniper rifles aren't supposed to give away your position. Also, although I like the way they're making teamwork possible, it's also pretty stupid for parts of the maps that whenever you use the bowcaster or even something like the smart rocket in order to get a kill, some player just walks in the way, and causes you not only to miss the shot, but also die. This is also a problem with the Shock Grenade star card, because some fucking oblivious dumbass just walks in the way, and their head or body makes the grenade bobble back to you, and you're the one who gets electrocuted. The assist thing I agree with because I sometimes feel depressed whenever I learn I got fewer kills than what I was shown. The X-8 sniper in my opinion sucks as well because whenever I fire it at enemies, my shots most of the time miss, and I end up sticking to only the DT-12. The game mode is really fun, especially since you can play heroes again, and it switches between small and big maps. I do like the change with the Explosive Shot though, because I got so fucking tired of getting killed because someone used it with their weapon, and it just causes me to be pissed off. I will be honest and say....I actually don't care about Heroes vs Villains, I just don't.
+Supersound I believe the pulse cannon only makes the glint by charging it, and by experience/seeing footage I know that Landing a headshot on someone with the pulse cannon will kill them.

I love Bespin the only thing that disappointed me was luke and Leia and didn't have their Bespin attire

Disruption is kind of cheap in my opinion, it's basically for the bad players to have a bigger chance during 1v1s.

I pretty much always run Disruption now just to make sure I can counter other players running it, or like you said...they have an easy time in 1v1's.
Still better than explosive shot in my opinion. It may be a bit cheap but it's extremely effective in HvV.

Normally I could win games almost single handed, now I have to fight way too many enemies and can capping a pod is worth much less to the team.
OTAKU Drop Zone is definitely a new experience now. I found that if we get off to a good lead I was sometimes able to find somewhere up high and mow down the opponents as they rush to the pods. Love Scout trait.
Excellent breakdown, while I like keeping close to your partner to lower cool down times and work together I hadn't considered to ramifications for someone using scout trait having their location given away by a partner using berserker. I personally use berserker now but I prefer to spawn on my partner to lower cool downs then head off on my own.
There are a lot of negative side effects of this new partner system.
+OTAKU the levels of this DLC are beautiful but I hope they fix up the issues there, disappointed in the reliance on Hutt contracts as well, hate grinding through tedious chores when we used to be able to buy blasters through credits earnt. Disruption and the shock grenades are going to get aggravating fast and Lando is disappointing as a hero. Can't see myself getting the x-8 as a weapon either. EE-4 looks good though. Great looking DLC, but the content is a mixed bag

Pretty much how I feel as well.
They can't have a five vs five heroes versus villains because those who only bought the bespin dlc, and not the season pass or the outer rim dlc, can't play as Greedo or Nien, with other words, if one team doesn't have anyone with outer rim dlc, the game would be unfair. They could have done a four vs four heroes vs villains though, but I feel like most people would have been disappointed if it wasn't a five vs five.
That's why they just make the hero count exactly the same as outer rim. Just because we have more heroes and they increased the game count for the last DLC, doesn't mean they have to for this one.

I agree with the kill assist thing especially when you get a ton of kills and it shows up as 10 less in the final screen. Another thing I hate is being switched teams when you are in a party. I try to play with my brother but we always end up on different teams.
I even party with people and have them end up in different games, it's so broken.

I think its value went up for its use to counter disruption, but man do I suck with it! Also, do you know if the SE-14C got nerfed? I can't seem to get one shot kills anymore.
Thanks Chris. I will put out the cycler rifle video pretty soon. The SE-14C should be the same, if you are not getting 1 shot kills then it's because your full burst isn't hitting the target or they are running bacta/zerker combo.

The EE-4 is a little too much, it's definitely a tad OP. Probably need to nerf the number of shots before overheating a bit. Hopefully they don't nerf it into the ground, because it's a fun weapon to use.
Unfortunately we kinda know what they are likely to do...just look what they did with the bowcaster and homing shot...just hope they don't do it to the EE-4...

The EE-4 is no better than the SE-14C or DH-17. Actually, the SE-14C is always a 1 burst kill, the EE-4 only gets one with a head shot.
Has anyone else been feeling like they've gotten WAY MORE kill assists since the horrible new change? I'm getting like as many kill assists as kills. So many times I SEE MYSELF kill the guy and it says assist. It's really pissing me off.
Well...25 dmg for a kill now.

Yeah 25 damage or more, meaning you could deal 95 damage but get a kill assist.

Lando is good in regular games but can't really do much in HvsV. Villains don't trigger the shock trap, the disruption is useful but has a really long wind up for some reason. The charge shot is okay, it is pretty much a worse version of Leia's bane bolts though and it makes me not even want to use it because one can't use his other abilities while it is active. But yeah I get what you are saying Lando pmuch automatically loses to Vader, Boba and Greedo 1vs1.
You are 100% spot on with all points there. Lando's deal is getting worse all the time...
I think Lando's charge up shot is better than trooper bane. (only vs other villians)

Use it if you can sometime, it's a bit trickier to place it because one can only throw it half the distance of a normal grenade. It also has the longest cooldown of any starcard.

sabotage: so far scan and dioxis grenades are great for close areas. I use bacta to heal people. Thing is, the defending needs explosives.
Yeah that dioxis is the perfect anti-shield counter for people that like to ninja cap the generators.

yes, they should've added HvV!! best game mode!! also i hate that they made it 3 rounds in Outer Rim. I LOVE 4 v 4. i understand people saying it could take too long with draws but i think the sweet spot for length would be 4 rounds instead of the 3 because then everyone can play the hero at least twice.

From what I can tell, cloud cars are flying gas cans. I shot down two of them in a single round using a pulse rifle. Comparing a cloud car to an xwing is like comparing a police car to an F-14, since cloud cars are basically a civilian police vehicle.
Well cloud cars were never meant to be spacecraft like the X-Wing. You said it yourself, they are basically civilian police vehicles and peoples expectations of them are skewed.
+OTAKU agreed. Inter-atmospheric civilian patrol craft. Shooting one with the pulse rifle is equal to shooting a ford crownvictoria police car with a .50 cal Barrett. It would royally screw it up.

The bowcaster change is in my opinion a great one, because previously I barely managed to get any kills with it, and I just felt plain dumb.
I do admit, the Pulse Cannon change is quite bad, because it's a sniper rifle, and sniper rifles aren't supposed to give away your position.
Also, although I like the way they're making teamwork possible, it's also pretty stupid for parts of the maps that whenever you use the bowcaster or even something like the smart rocket in order to get a kill, some player just walks in the way, and causes you not only to miss the shot, but also die. This is also a problem with the Shock Grenade star card, because some fucking oblivious dumbass just walks in the way, and their head or body makes the grenade bobble back to you, and you're the one who gets electrocuted.
The assist thing I agree with because I sometimes feel depressed whenever I learn I got fewer kills than what I was shown. The X-8 sniper in my opinion sucks as well because whenever I fire it at enemies, my shots most of the time miss, and I end up sticking to only the DT-12.
The game mode is really fun, especially since you can play heroes again, and it switches between small and big maps. I do like the change with the Explosive Shot though, because I got so fucking tired of getting killed because someone used it with their weapon, and it just causes me to be pissed off. I will be honest and say....I actually don't care about Heroes vs Villains, I just don't.
+Supersound I believe the pulse cannon only makes the glint by charging it, and by experience/seeing footage I know that Landing a headshot on someone with the pulse cannon will kill them.
