I was given one of these by my 89 year-old uncle. I could not get it open I assumed he'd let us set out in the rain for years and years. Thank you for showing me how to raise the daggone thing awesome presentation awesome content
Jimmy! I had no idea you had this channel. Ive been a long time subscriber to 1Road. I saw the thumbnail and was like no way. Im actually looking at purchasing this miter as its on sale for $250 locally. Thanks brother 👍
i think you picked the best one. i used the single bevel 12 dewalt over many years and its lightweight frame was a winner to take it to different job sites. i got a 12 dewalt slider-what a mistake-too bulky and heavy for transport. also have a delta 10 with cast iron frame-brutally heavy and jumpy motor. the model you got never got below 299 for years. at 199, should be a bargain...
*Great saw **MyBest.Tools** excellent shipping and very competitive price. The ease of adjustment for different cuts is great. Nothing but positives with the purchase of this saw.*
Great Vid brtha. Just picked this up from Lowes for $199 and found a new Dewalt 723 stand for $100 on offer up (mounting brackets included)😉. I am a full Blown “dont be lazy, get your butt up n keep movin n do somethin positive” DIY Beginner and excited for what the future has in store with me and these bad boyz.😎. Time to get to work. Take care n wish u n ur loved ones all the best. LETS CREATE💪🏼🙏🏼🤔🤯🤨😉😀
I went out and bought one of these thinking it would be an upgrade from my old Dewalt 705, but I was wrong. The motor is weak, and the whole saw feels very cheap. I’ll be taking it back.
Bevel, is basically the degree in which you can move the saw head. A Single bevel will only move 1 way 0-45 degrees which means, if you want to bevel a piece of material on both sides, you'll have to cut it and then take the material off and turn it yourself. With a dual bevel the saw head goes 0-45 in both directions, so you wont have to take the materials off, you can just slide it down the saw and rotate the head. Makes life a lot more convenient; say you have to cut a 10'-12' board or moulding, flipping 12' around in a tight workspace isn't the easiest thing to do.
Budget constraints really do restrict the quality of work. Having a dual bevel allows you to cut/miter wide boards face down at 45° and get crisp and clean edges with zero blowout.
I saw some comments on amazon about this saw claimed that the fence is not parallel and it is bowed is that true And what about dewalt miter saw quality compared to makita
I wonder if someone can tell me how to lock the saw on an odd number of degree. There are predetermined places to lock the saw, but what about odd numbers. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do that.
You have great potential as a videographer. However, this is a POWER tool. You video when into great detail about the cosmetics, but what about the power? Brushless? No. Maximum RPMs 4000. Warranty on motor? 3 years except for normal wear and tear. A word can be said about safety, weight, portability, noise and dust creation. But you took the word "unbox" too literally. I almost skipped this video as it was around 7 minutes long and it is just a little of a stretch to make one covering all aspects in such a short time. What you did, and it's only natural, is you explained what you liked about the saw. Cosmetics, price, available. I stopped because I wasn't interested in The General Expert but I was in the market for a DeWalt DW715. So think about what your audience want's to know that you can provide to them. I'll check out your other videos as this was done in 2018 so maybe you've gotten better. Like I said, you have great camera presence, a pleasant voice, and you care about woodworking. Thanks, I'll give you a like.

I went out and bought one of these thinking it would be an upgrade from my old Dewalt 705, but I was wrong. The motor is weak, and the whole saw feels very cheap. I’ll be taking it back.
What’s your opinion of this saw now that you’ve had it for over 2 years?
Exactly what I needed to know. Thank You.
That saw is perfect
Super helpful, cheers mate!
What's the difference between dual bevel vs. single bevel?

Motar se chingari nekalti hai kyo
what is the difference in single and double bevel?
Single bevel are for home use only in my opinion
I saw some comments on amazon about this saw claimed that the fence is not parallel and it is bowed is that true
And what about dewalt miter saw quality compared to makita
Oh man I just spent 20 minutes cussing this saw I couldn’t figure how to raise it! Lol thanks
Thanks!
Thanks, Jimmy.

Would you cut a dog ear fence board with this saw? Thanks.

I bought the 60 tooth for my mdf baseboards. I put my dust catcher on and my saw is covered in dust 😆

Enquanto isso no Brasi🇧🇷 custa 2.000 mil reais um absurdo!
Just got mine off Amazon $179
I wish I had a 12 incher !!!!!
A 10 incher will rip through just about everything...no need for a 12 incher unless your ripping through black mahogany.
It's not ripping. It's cross cutting
Discontinued saw
