I love the piece its like " I had the longest fingers, other pianist can suck it" Rahmaminov's anger is so absolute and the emotions are sooo real... i love the anger and passion...
Maestro Gryaznov, your musical performance is most beautiful, full of grace and elegance, and best of all, it is without neurotic facial expressions as seen with some others before! Bravissimo!
Just attended a solo concert 2 days ago at Stetson University by Gryaznov. Mesmerizing concert. This recording shows he does not fall prey to chasing the critics. He is an independent musician who is in full control of tempo, tone, pace, and ultimately the beauty of the piece.
I've heard other pianists play this piece too fast; they want to show off their technique. But that's not what great classical music is about, and for me, Gryaznov's is simply the finest because he shows the depth of emotion in the piece.
Breathtaking concert. Some of your ideas are simply marvelous. I'm following you for quite a while and your music was much inspiration for my own concerts, specially Ravel. Please keep uploading, you deserve to be on the top.
Elegie 0:00 Preludie 5:58 Melodie 10:15 Polichinelle 14:34 Serenade 18:15 I never really liked the 1940 version of the Melodie until I heard you play it. Bravo.
Beautiful man, piano virtuoso... God blesing him eternaly..thank you...Elisa Finch..mesager Cristian from the end of the world Argentina....and Artist of fine Arte...Ca.Usa..
Aside from the recordings of Rachmaninov himself, I can only listen to Gryaznov and Lugansky play the legendary left-handed genius’s pieces. No other pianists come close to doing Rachmaninov’s work justice, Gryaznov and Lugansky are truly in a league of their own.
Dear wiecrslaw i Life in bellagio , Como lake , italy . 100 metres from Liszt ' House (1837) where Cosima was born.. Rachmaninoff came here twice by his beautiful car !!!! At the lite town front of us , named Tremezzo , Arthur Schnabel realized his piano lessons at 20th years .. we admire you as great pianist !!!@!
you come from God. I waited this transcription by many time and didn't know the existence. Pure ecstatic kidnapping: this is the risult of your performance.Bravo!!!!!
A revealing performance of these pieces; for me, all, except the C-sharp minor which attempted to be more subjugation than subjection, were skillfully and musically explored. An excellent pianist. Bravo!
i love the way you shaped 8:20 - 8:27. even the great pianists play that a little flat for my taste. also, at 9:00 i love how you played closer to the beat instead of playing more off beat like others do it. you are one of my favorite pianists btw :)
I love the piece its like " I had the longest fingers, other pianist can suck it" Rahmaminov's anger is so absolute and the emotions are sooo real... i love the anger and passion...
Gryaznov was born to play Rachmaninoff's music.
Simply BEAUTIFUL. The way Mr Gryzanov plays , feels Rachmaninov 's music touches my soul, so emotional, Elegie makes my cry ♥
Vyacheslav Gryaznov plays works of Sergei Rachmaninoff incredibly musically and with great sensitivity. . .

I always love that mid section in "Polichinelle". Most beautiful lyrical strain ever.

The next Lugansky.
Lugansky is sooo overrated.
Gryaznov is sooo underrated.
IMHO Gryaznov is Gryaznov, Luganky is Lugansky. There is no comparison between them!
