    I was recently fit for a Stealth 2+ 9° with Red TS 6s. It did give me better numbers than my current driver (Rouge MAX LS 10.5° Tensei White) but the TM Fitter said I'd be better in the TR as it was a bit more stable. Going for another fitting Wed at a course that has Titleist, TM and Callaway.

      Yeah those heads will perform very differently so that's where most of the numbers change will be coming from. But yh definitely the TR is a little more stable in the handle especially so if you're quite a hard loader the TR would probably but slightly better but I would never take advice without trying anything because theory means nothing when it comes to feel.

      @@epgolfstudios Yep, I took his suggested spec sheet (and price!) and stored it away for safe keeping.

    What tour ad shaft is comparable to this ventus red / tr

    I have a VeloCore Blue 6S, and it's the stiffest stiff shaft i've ever played, well apart from the GD MAD shaft. That was like plywood. But it would be interesting to see how much stiffer it is to a stock TSR shaft like a HZRDUS 6.0

      Same here, but still had a great feel to it. Fujikura has always recommended not tipping their shafts, and with this one they meant it..

    recently found your channel and I've been enjoying the videos. When you check CPM do you ever check it at different points along the shaft, or just from the handle to mid section. I was curious if checking different points along the shaft would give you more insight.

    What would make a player that normally hits a ball 115-125’ peak height with low launch profiles and when I hit TR red in X my peak height comes down, spin doesn’t change much at all (under 2-300 rpm). Launch with low profiles 14-15. Tr red 13-14. My club speed is 111-113. I’m not a hard loader. More Smooth and constant speed from top. I’m guessing red brings my strike down on the face slightly vs slight high with black tr and other low launch profiles? Very curious. Thank you

    • @epgolfstudios
      @epgolfstudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that would definitely be the main thing that would bring down the launch (lower strike on the face) and it's not uncommon with softer tip profiles to be fair. Need to get ona GC Quad and have a proper look 🙌

    Could you do a similar comparison to the Ventus Blue to the Blue TR? Love these videos, keep it up.

      @epgolfstudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks James, I was going to but in my original Ventus video I did have both the blue and the blue TR in there so I kind of have already in terms of performance 👍

    If you are wanting to put a red/red TR into play with a 7 wood. Would you pick on or the other. I currently play the blue TR in 7x in my 3 wood and absolutely love it.

      That a very tough one to answer! 1 because shafts are just very feel based so a lot comes down to personal preference but also they aren't too dissimilar. Id say if you like to feel a little more load in the shaft especially under than hands then go original Ventus but if you like it a little stouter and a little firmer feeling under the hands then go TR

    Standard deviation makes a difference too and red seems to be tighter than red tr

      @@juanbuenestado249 no I don't tip driver shafts unless it's specified. So I just glue the tip on and then trim from the butt end to the correct length

    solid video. think you do better / are more confident with slightly lighter shafts, hence slight advantage to the original.

    I’m a very high spin negative angle attack player. Struggle with high spin and launch. I tested the dynapower carbon gave me great spin for me at 2800 and a launch of 8 with stock non velocore blue stiff. It’s difficult to test the tr red and blue for Wilson not easy to find. Does the red and blue tr spin and launch similar for you

    • @epgolfstudios
      @epgolfstudios  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes most shafts launch and spin pretty similar. You won't find a shaft that dramatically helps you in all honesty. If you are very steep on the driver then really you need to just work on that before spending lots on equipment when that's probably not the main issue 👍

    • @epgolfstudios
      @epgolfstudios  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When I saw this comment I genuinely thought it was a sarcastic wind up ....there is actually a shaft called the syncagraphite....wow....they need to work on these names 😂😂😂 well I've not even heard of that shaft until now but looking at the price of it there's no way it will be worth it 😂 and unfortunately we are not in the financial position to spend that on a shaft for 1 video. I'll send them an email though for sure and if they send us one to do a video on then I'll definitely do it 👍
