A CLAUDE MONET inspired art vlog 🪷 Water Lilies & The Flowered Arches at Giverny🌻 Oil paintings

- Today's art vlog is inspired by Claude Monet and his garden at Giverny. Claude Monet is one of my favorite painters, so in this video I'll create two master copies of his famous Water Lilies and The Flowered Arches at Giverny by using oil paint. While I show you how I create these master copies, I'll talk about Monet's life and also give some background information on his Water Lilies painting and The Flowered Arches at Giverny. In between paintings I'll show you where I find my second hand art books & of course take a walk at the park and enjoy the sun. These were the first real sunny days of this year and I really enjoyed creating this dreamy art vlog.

Just by chance I got to see this video which really draw my attention, so then decided to take a view. Gorgeous like all your videos in your very delightful channel, which I just decided to suscribe. By the way, and this might be an obvious question, but have you ever been in Giverny?
I really enjoyed your video. Your paintings look dreamy just like Monet’s. Is there a specific reason you paint holding the end of your brush? Does it help to paint more loosely? Would you ultimately say your painting style is impressionistic? I will continue to follow your videos since I love how relaxing they are and you paint beautifully. Your cat is so cute too.
In the beginning, I always held the brush like I was holding a pencil, just to have more control. And I still do this when I go into little details. But I really love the impressionistic style and holding the brush at the end really helps me to paint more loosely, to not go into too much detail and to make bolder brushstrokes. I still need a lot of practice, but painting in an impressionistic style is a goal of mine ❤️
Hi, I’d love to know the about the brushes you have used. Any specific size? It seemed like they have been adjusted to suit the need
