Hi, my name is Simone and I’m an aspiring artist from the Netherlands. I’d like to take you on this journey with me while I create art and visit some inspiring places. Finding inspiration in historic portrait paintings 🌺 Symbolism & Vanitas
In this video I'll show you how I find inspiration from old historic portrait paintings from the 17th and 18th century. While painting I'll talk a little bit about the symbolism behind it and the 'Vanitas' movement. You can draw a lot of inspiration from old historic paintings, if you know where to look.

Romantic Oil Paintings in my art studio 🌹 Claude Monet, Doves & Roses 🕊
In this video I'll create romantic oil paintings in my sunny art studio from Claude Monet, and of doves and roses. I wanted to make small romantic paintings, on paper, that could fit in my empty frames. Doing tiny projects, in between large paintings, can be really refreshing sometimes. I'm showing you how I create a small master copy from Claude Monet, called "The Seine at Argenteuil" and also...

In this time-lapsed video I'll take you through this painting process and share my thoughts that came with this painting. I hope you'll enjoy my video. If you have any que...
A Painting process 🌿 Nature's beauty, Mythology and SKIN tones
In today's painting process, I'm delving into the world of nature's beauty, mythology, and skin tones. While searching for a reference photo, I stumbled upon a painting by a Russian artist and immediately fell in love. This will be partially a master copy, allowing me the freedom to make color changes and add some other details. I'll show you how I create this forest scene combined with a nude ...
Turning my FEAR into GROWTH as an ARTIST 🕊 Oil painting + Royal Garden visit
Turning my fear into growth as an artist is something I've had to learn over the past years. You get exposed to fears of failure, the unknown, criticism and self-doubt. Art related fear has become my compass, guiding me towards areas where I can grow and improve. You stop being afraid of things after you do them, not before. While I'm creating an Oil painting I'll tell you about my look on how ...

I painted a master copy from Sorolla, a painting from a nature scene for my living room and at last a portrait painting. Three completely different but lovely paintings I enjoyed very much c...
Creating my new art studio in my attic 🌞🌼 Relaxing art studio makeover 🎨 Oil painting + Museum visit
Today I'm creating my new art studio in the attic of my new house, getting back into oil painting and taking you with me to the Museum to see a large Van Gogh collection. Because I moved into a new house, I haven't created an oil painting in a while. So the first step was to do a big art studio makeover and start decorating to get back on track with my art journey. I definitely missed painting ...

The first days of spring 🌸 Creating an oil painting of two deers
Since spring is finally here, I'll be creating an oil painting of two deers. In this relaxing art vlog I wanted to try something different with my art while I show you what my week looked like. I let my imagination take over and created this dreamy painting using oil paint. Sometimes it can be nice to let go and just experiment with different styles. I took a little break from everything and we...
A CLAUDE MONET inspired art vlog 🪷 Water Lilies & The Flowered Arches at Giverny🌻 Oil paintings

In my first art vlog I’ll set up my Art Studio in my bedroom and finally create my own workspace by organizing my desk and of course the most fun part, decorating. hey do you have instagram acc?
Hi Im Markus im a painter. I feel inspired of your movies i like to watch it in my own studio.
Your studio is beautiful and the light is incredible 😍 Such a lovely space must be so inspiring.
Being afraid is part of life. The feeling tells us something - to take care of ourselves. To protect ourselves. It is okay to be afraid, thats what I tell myself. But I dont want to make decisions based solely on fear.
Beautiful painting, beautiful voice, beautiful soul.
Hi, I’d love to know the about the brushes you have used. Any specific size? It seemed like they have been adjusted to suit the need
Simone, I think as a self taught artist, I think you are marvelous. I watched you paint the “girl I the forest” and it shows a very talented artist. I found your channel when you were decorating a new studio. It gave me great pleasure to see how the room became alive. Keep up the great talent. Best regards, Sarah - San Diego
Hello dear. I discovered your channel today. I wanted to write to you on social, but I can't find you. Your videos are beautiful and you have made me want to go back to painting with brushes! Lately I've been drawing in the bullet journal, but now I'm going to start again thanks to you!
The studio looks like a dream! So beautiful and inspiring 🥰 I'm a little envious your cat isn't interested in your plants 😅 I have to place all of mine in rooms my cats don't have acces to or very high up where they can't reach, otherwise it's mayhem 🫠😂
Thank you! I have two cats, they are 3 years old now. Believe me I’ve been through that phase with them, tearing down every plant I owned😤😂 But eventually they grew out of it when they got to go outside. Now they only want food, sleep, cuddles and more food. I hope you have a nice day 🌸
Really enjoyed this video! You are a very good painter!
WOW!!
Stunning!
please make more videos! ☺️
It would be great and successful video if you show us what kind of oils you mixed with your paint 🎨 or solution so other artists can get it.
The painting of the roses is beautiful!
Thank you!
Simone, your paintings turned out beautifully, as always. Now you've gotten me motivated to try doing a detail from an old painting myself.
This video makes my day, it relaxes me and it is so nice to see you follow your passion and keep pushing yourself in your art work! You are a true blessing and inspiration 🤍
This is such a beautiful video. Even down to the music you've chosen!
Thank you 😙
Fijne dag🌸☺️
Both your painting process and the actual painting are so delicate and elegant. Hands are incredibly complex and you capture so much in what could be seen as a "simple" composition. Your selection of close-ups is so inspiring, I loved the soap bubble especially...!
Thank you ! very sweet 😊
So beautiful and inspiring! I'm going to try to paint Thomas Lawrence 's one. It's such a beautiful painting. You did a great job 🥰
Thank you ! Let me know how it turned out 😊
Wooow I loved this two paintings! I liked the bubbles the most, very well executed, the transparece and light so well done. You inspired me to try this idea myself.
i am curious about the painting in the background. I quite like it. I am curious though. Is the focal point, the figure, her butt, or the relationship of how she flows elegantly much the same as the folds of the bed sheet? I love how you took tiny little parts of larger works and made them into more elegant smaller compositions. I have considered when i start painting to do this with my photographs. I really quite enjoy your videos. They make me happy. Glad i found your channel.
Nice work dude! Good to see you keep on going :)
