In this video, I will show you how I finally changed the rear differential gear oil on my Nissan Navara after five years . This is a very easy DIY tutorial for anyone who wants to change the differential oil on their vehicles.

ALWAYS always always remove the filler plug first before the drain plug. if you drop the oil then find your fill plug won't undo then you're screwed

Mahirap po kasi iDiy ang pagpalit ng transmission oil, walang kasi itong dip stick so hindi makikita kung nasa tamang level na ang gear oil.
May na basa nga ako sa google na machine ang gamit sa pag lagay ng oil sa navara so para po sa akin sa casa ko nalang dadalhin para sure maselang din po kasi ang mga automatic transmission.

Sa mga naka manual transmission madali lang mag palit ng gear oil pero sa automatic ttransmission ng Navara katulad ng sa akin mahirap magDiy kasi walang dipstick hindi makikita if nasa tamang level na ang oil. Sa Nissan ko plan magpalit ng transmission oil pero pilitin kong ivlog para maishare ko parin sa inyo.

It is always best to change the differential gear oil since it has no filter to keep the oil clean.

Old Differential, wayback 1960s, yes. Somehow. But today, your differential is LSD. It needs to be properly lubricated

Curious lang ako Sir....hindi ko yata nakita sa Owners Manual na ni require nila ang LSD at parang 75w-90 Hypoid GL-5 Gear oil lang. Equipped ba ang ating Nissan Navara ng Limited Slip diff. or LSD Sir? Baka kasi kako hindi ko lang nakita.

Ung Nissan Hypoid Super-S kac wla ako mhnap online tpos sobrang mahal s casa nun 4k/liter (parang ginto nmn gear oil nila). Worried lng po kami kac nabasa ko s website ng Aisin 75w-90 gl-5 is semi synthetic.. Ttgal kaya un s stress and heat n mgegenerate po ng Navara ntin?

Thank you for watching. Hindi na ako nag flush tingin ko kasi hindi na kailangan. Pero kung gusto nyo maka siguradong malinis lalo na kung sobrang tagal na napabayaan or hindi napalitan, after nyo mag palit ng gear oil gamitin for at least one month ang sasakyan then palitan ulit ang gear oil.

Usually po kahit sa ibang sasakyan nasa leven ng filling hole pag lumabas na ang oil full na ito. Pero yung ginawa ko sa video medyo mababa ng konti nasa half inch pa bago umabot sa filling hole.

Hi, the most important question is if the oil is normal API GL-5 75W90 or is a LSD API GL-5 75W90. There are not the same, I dont know if the Navara have in the rear differential an LSD.
