I work at a Ford dealer so I get to drive this pretty often, its really chill to drive it. The ST-line looks good, hopefully they release a ST one soon too that can compare with the other hatchbacks.
Isn't rumored to be released for 2019?
RainDropBlopper February/March, if I’m not wrong, read something about it a fee weeks ago. Seen a video of them testing the car so it shouldn’t be too far away.
@@tremainebrown2694 that would be great i just got a new car a mini jcw but i'm planing to get a new car somwhere around 2020 a brand new one and the new focus st would be my first choice, i just hooe that the MK4 ST engine will be as reliable like the MK3 ST you could tune that little banger up to 500hp without problems

pumpupthejam pumpitup ye i did a trip to Paris and the highway of yours is so boring at 130 eventho you could drive a lot more and it’s annoying on overtaking someone but on the way back home (Germany) we drove chilly 190-210 km/h

Waltz sounds in Fiesta ST ok, but not in standart Focus top motor
Is there a huge difference between the 150/182ps engine?
Above 4000 rpm the 182ps makes a difference. There is some increasing in fuel consumption and 0-100 is better 0,8".

Alexander Haase Naja ich denke das es nicht gut ist aus einem 1,5l Motor mit drei Zylindern 184PS rauszuholen. Ist halt meiner Meinung nach viel zuviel Leistung für so einen kleinen Motor.
@@xantikikxd5177 schon mal was vom amg project one gelesen oder gehört. Das ist ein 1.6l Turbo Motor mit 1000hp. Und die wissen ganz bestimmt was sie tun. Von daher ist die Aussage das ein 1.5l keine 184ps verträgt unsinn.
Markus Heinze der project one ist aber ein hybrid und hat einen 1,6l V6 mit turbo (und ist kein alltagsauto) das kann man schlecht vergleichen mit einem turbo aufgeladenen dreizylinder mit fast 200ps ^^
die autoindustrie macht halt vortschritte. damals sind 2.0l motoren mit 115ps rumgedüst. würde heute keiner mehr bauen lassen.

Es gibt jetzt also einen 1.0L 3 Zylinder mit 125 PS und einen 1.5 L 3 (!) Zylinder mit 150/182 PS. Kann mir jemand erklären was der Schwachsinn soll?

Elektromotor hat gar keinen Zylinder, ist das der Grund warum keiner umsteigt?

Überraschung die Motorentwicklung geht Vorwärts und nicht rückwärts
Ich sag nix gegen die "alten" 3 Zylinder mit max 140 PS, aber ich find das auch schwachsinnnig. Vorallem hörte sich der alte EcoBoost 4 Zylinder mit 150/182 PS Garnicht mal so falsch an. naja, Downsizing wird immer Stärker kommen, die Motoren halten eh maximal 100 tkm aus bei so einer PS zahl Pro Zylinder, und wenn man Sportlich fährt, kannst ihn vermutlich auch ab 50 tkm wegschmeißen. Soundtechnisch ja, Mechanisch und Motortechnisch NEIN.
The back doors panels are the worst thing ever made in Ford... you'll have two different interiors for the standard ST-Line, very good in the front, really awful in the back...
That happens with brand new production fords... Give it one or two years and it will improve

That's not a fake sound! That's natural sound for 3-cylinder engine by Ford, trust me. For me it's sound really, really good.
Seems like a nice little car, but that fake engine sound is horrendous. I'd rather hear the little 3-cylinder working away than listen to a speaker growl a fake noise every time I accelerated.
