I like the machine, the man and the music. I just sold a Gallon 104B gas over diesel grader, wishing I had it back now. Wife said- your not buying the John Deere until it's gone. Should have sold the wife... Thanks- this video gives me new hope for America.
My brother, Mike, is a genius when it comes to motors and tractors. He has a gift for creating and building almost anything mechanical. I am very proud of him! Big Donnie, you did a beautiful job of videoing Mike and the grader. You are a wiz kid with a camera.
Enjoyed watching your demo video. We engineer and fabricate most of the equipment we use on our farm here in Maine and your grader is something we could use. This video has provided some great ideas and and inspiration. I've already fired up my CAD software so I can start a few initial sketches. Thank you very much!
Конструктору уважение за работу - молодец! На практике никому не нужен, есть более рациональные идеи, навеска для квадроцикла или минитрактора, на них и скорость обработки больше, и менее затратные, по обслуживанию..
I operate large graders and this is nice but it's missing wheel tilt, scarifier, mold board tilt and left/right pitch, and rear articulate. not that you need all of this but I would.
Nice cute unit, but I can tell you from my experience (Model D Allis Chalmers) that it doesn't weigh enough to do much work. grading loose rock is one thing reshaping a road that is made of clay and boulders is another. None the less cool.
@@westcoaster3763 Ya I get that, and that is why I gave him props for it being cute, but there are many cheaper easier, better ways if all you want to do is dress your driveway. And to the builder again I say cool novelty, it will show well
Dennis, I am glad you liked the video but there is no problem with the back wheels. The weight is perfect back there. I'm not sure about the GRW. Bigdonnie
Mr. Big Donnie, can you build me one?? I have a small oval track for cycle cart racing, and the piece of chain link fence isn't doing the job anymore.. I need to pull the berm back down onto the track. This small grader is perfect for what I need. Thanks.
Dear Mike, wow You make a Great Great job with your Gravely Tractor. You make me dreeam with your project and I wish to make or create something for sitting back of my Snow Blower. and maybe a blade on the the Front of the Blowers or remove Blower to replace for a blade for summer. I have to explane you why my dream? Two years ago, my Doctor find a Right Lung Cancer and a Pulmonary Fibrosis so after a surgery, I am 24 hours /day on Oxygen and cannot move easily I am already on my Electric quadriporter. I tried to pass the Snow Blower but it was to hard for me to stay on my legs, to difficult for me.I make a reserch here near Montréal and its rare, maybe.....Thank you for reed me and continu.Jacques
Hey Mike, Love Ur Work.I am always impressed with anything a Gravely can Do.Just Curious.Did U use a Standard Gravely L model Tractor?Any special modifications to the Old Gravely it self? I have a 1965 L8 one of the first with the 2-Speed axles Just Love it.Thanks for input..Kenneth
Watch out Caterpillar! Siler grading has come to town!!!!
A unique build. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Drive, skill, and backyard engineering is how some of the greatest machines were built!!! Beautiful machine and great job Mr Siler!!
works like it should. great job!

realy nice!!!!!!
Has it ever seen snow? Might be a handy snow machine up here in Michigan. Buy the way what's an idear?
now he's just has to put the tilt front wheels on it

He is working over his driveway.... not building a highway....

Great video great machine
Question does it have GRWs on it?
Does he have any issues with too much weight on the rear axles?
Dennis, I am glad you liked the video but there is no problem with the back wheels. The weight is perfect back there. I'm not sure about the GRW.
