      As a g920 owner and FH4 player i dont feel like i really need a handbrake, and i drive manual so i dont feel like i need to clutch kick, sometimes in really sharp i just hold the button on the wheel that’s the handbrake

    I had the parts for the first analogue handbrake in my eBay basket for about half a year now and never got around to order and build it. I just build your new version today. Cost me about 20€ here in Germany and about 2-3 hours to find a solid setup on my rig. Thank you so much for the awesome idea and your Arduino code! It works like a charm

    Just finished my handbrake build after following this tutorial. Used a spare set of G27 pedals I had laying around, and man, does this thing rock!

    And you can even tune it by changing the spring or adding a rubber piece (like the G29 brake has) to make it stiffer. Great mod, as always!

    Thank you for this tutorial. Do these pedals have to be connected to 5V signal? I was asking because I'm waiting for a servo motor kit and it has a 3.3V signal only connection which I could use without the arduino board.

    Hey thanks for the video. I just built one and it works fine on pc. I used my spare g27 pedal and an arduino board used long time ago to build a gimix for ps4... Do you mind telling me if you know how to make it compatible with ps4? I usually play on PC and PS4.

    Now I was eager to make a handbrake and keypad ... and my question would be the following ... is there any way to use only an Arduino Pro Micro to connect the handbrake and the keypad?

    if you use a rj12 plug and not an arduino you can connect direct to fanatec v3 pedals or csw2.5 base :)
    did this a few weeks ago with the logitech brake pedal :)

    Hey man. Great idea. Is there a way to connect the handbrake/pedal to a G29 wheel so a button can be asigned in a game to a button thats wired to it?? Theres videos with g29/G920 handbrake mods but your handbrake/pedal looks better. Its for PS4 also.

    now could you do the tut on how to wire the single pedal to a rj12 plug to use along side my fanatec v3 pedals, i can send you diagram of the wireing to see what goes where for both the rj12 and the pedal, i just cant find rj12 crimpers to do my self,

    Hey man, great tutorials! Is there a way to make this axis register momentary button presses? for example: If I pull the handle 25% it also registers a button1 press and if I continue pulling it to 75% - another button2 press. But when I leave the handle and it gets back to place these buttons at 75% and 25% do NOT register again. I'm used to work with the mmjoy2 GUI, but not familiar with the Arduino IDE.

    just bought a standard thrustmaster t300 with the two pedal set, and the 3 pedal T-lcm set seperately, might do this with the shitty pedals that come with the t300, i currently just use a button wired to an old keyboard on a lever with rubber bands for a handbrake, lol. this looks like a nice improvement.

    I starded doing the same with the clutch of my old fanatic CSR to plug it directly in the handbrake port of my CSL elite base but the potentiometer doesn't have the good value. I replaced it by an adjustable potentiometer but it is not accurate enough. Would you know the value of the Fanatec handbrake pot so I purchase the good one

    I have a g25 so I have the sequential on the shifter which I know use as a handbrake and I bought the new g29 shifter for the h pattern

    I have an old pair of pedals from a logitech driving force pro (or GT, can't remember now) that I'll tear open for this. My question is can I connect it to a USB encoder board (I have a couple laying around) to get a similar result?
