- Morning Light is a sweet delicate lullaby dedicated to my wife Ewelina and her mother Lucy. This work is the first of over a dozen lullabies that my wife, Ewelina, and I have written dedicated to our daughter, Emily. Morning Light is published in a new book titled #MarimbaBaby by Musicon Publications. Enjoy! musiconpublications.com/produ...

Another great work! Can’t get over how beautiful and heartfelt your pieces are!
Thank you so much! Morning Light is in my new book #MarimbaBaby. You can hear it and all of the other MarimbaBaby pieces at www.musiconpublications.com. Enjoy!
this sounds like a happy spin off of moon chasers:)
Andréa P. - Thank you! Those two pieces are related! :) Actually Morning Light came first.
I’m trying to learn your peice for my sophomore 4 mallet solo haha u play it so smooth and it’s sounds so much better than me haha
Such a beautiful melody!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you Arturo! Best wishes for your music!
Amazing! Can't wait to work on it!
ThePumpkin506 - Thank you!! I hope you enjoy playing it! Morning Light is the first work I wrote in the #MarimbaBaby collection.
What Mallets is he using?
Hi Tori! I'm using my Innovative Percussion mallets here on Morning Light. I have a IP812 in the #1 position for a fuller bass tone and the rest of the mallets are IP813s for a little more articulation.
Many thanks Victoria!
Question. Are any of the marimba pieces written for 4.3 octave marimba?
Christian Galvan - The 9 solos in #MarimbaBaby are all written for a 5-Octave marimba but a few (like Sweet Dreams) can be played on a 4.3 octave instrument.
Mark Ford thank you sir. Hope the concert goes well 👌🏻
I'm playing this as my solo tomorrow. Do you have any tips?
Focus on the music, breathe and imagine a perfect performance. Then do your best! Good luck!
@@markfordmusic Thank you. I love your songs.
Hi Mark. Beautiful music. We are interested in using a portion of Morning Light in our indie documentary. Is there an email address I could forward you information and a proper request for use? Much thanks, Terri
