Just enjoy the music with the music video, there's something really facinating about the visuals. And we primarily want u guys to enjoy it, that's the most important 💜
This is important thing for you guys to understand that Hindi has two type of consonants. one is hard consonants that sound similar to English and Spanish but Hindi has more of them, and then there are aspirated consonants or breathy consonants which have a more breathy sound. For example- Chupa- to suck, is not the same as Chhupa - to hide. Chh represents the breathy aspect of the sound, obviously there is no equivalent in Latin script so an extra h is used to represent aspirated sounds. So the breathy sound can literally change the meaning of the word but to an English or Spanish speakers it won’t be noticeable, unless you pay very close attention. I gave this example because yenno…y’all were talking about it, it’s not chupa in the songs it’s usually chhupa and I just wanted to clarify 😂.
@@mohitkanyal2119 it can be both, it depends on the dialect and the synonym used by the speaker. In Hindi, there are several synonyms for each word used today, the words can change depending on the area or other language’s influences etc. Hindi doesn’t have strict linguistics rules in terms of vocabulary due to the influences coming from Persian and Sanskrit, so some people use more persiactic words and others more Sanskrit. No one is wrong, just depends on the speaker.
Fun fact : The first couple shown in real lives are in laws, the actor (saif ali khan) is married to the actress' (karishma) younger sister kareena who is also a very famous actress

This is a typical 90s type bollywood song. Semi devotional light vocal song depicting childhood of Hindu God Lord Shri Krishna. The protagonist imagines herself as Lord's early beloved/friend Radha.
You should react to the original songs more because that’s how they were created for the public to experience. The instrumental versions don’t do justice to the essence of the songs at least in the case of Indian songs
Hi, You ought to react to Javed Ali’s live performance. (Every performance is gold) Secondly, I have noticed that you guys ask how do these singers train and what’s their background like. That's why we enjoy dancing more on Hindi songs than English songs ....i somehow feel that i have to drag myself to dance on English songs ...while for Hindi songs the dance comes out of the heart
This is not the first time for you to hear Alka yahnik voice. You have already reacted to "Tum saath ho" sung by Alka yagnik. This song is also sung by Kavita krishnamurthi and Anuradha podwal other 2 top singers from Indian cinema.
Taal se taal mila from movie taal, is a good one to listen to by Alka yagnik and unit narayan. This one wasnt just alka. She was only the middle girl in white dress.
The song you've reacted to is sung by THREE female singers. All of them super popular in the 90s era. The first vocalist is Kavita Krishnamurthy (lip-synched by Karisma Kapoor in the Orange outfit). The second vocalist is Alka Yagnik (lip-synched by Sonali Bendre in the gold outfit). The third vocalist is Anuradha Paudwal (lip-synched by Tabu in the red outfit). The girl in the purple is called Neelam. If you really want an introduction to Alka Yagnik, I would suggest "Taal Se Taal" from the film Taal (also, 1999). Music is by A.R. Rahman, and it's picturized on Aishwarya Rai.
This is not the first time you're listening to Alka Yagnik. You saw the music video of Agar Tum Saath Ho. She sang the female part in that alongside Arijit Singh.
This song has been sung by three major singers for the three different girls. The first voice was of Kavita Krishnamurthy who opens the song; voice of the second girl was Alka Yagnik and the third voice was Anuradha Paudwal.
The lady in orange is Karishma Kapoor. She's the sister of Kareena Kapoor (love interest in the 3 idiots) and the guy Karishma is dancing with is Kareena's husband! (Saif Ali Khan)😂 P.S: a lot of bollywood stars are related and get married to each other
This movie is equivalent to a typical latino soap opera, with typical light bollywood song and dance, of course. During 90s, bollywood songs and dance were very light in difficulty/complexity. Only arrival of AR Rahman changed the scene and music became more and more modern, less dependent on legacy musical beats, etc.
Please also check out Ye swasalo cherithe sung by KS chitra. I think studio versions are important so if you can look at both the live version and the studio versions back to back. But with some older singers all you'll get is studio versions

She holds the record for the most number of National Awards bestowed upon by the Government of India. A total of 6!!. The other singers, Kavita (Sharada) Krishnamurthy is a legend, classically trained young, began from the late 70s, she sang Dola Re Dola with Shreya and the Hindi cover you checked out A whole new World, she has sung in several languages. Anuradha (Alka) Paudwal another legend began in the early 70s, was popular in the 90s, sung in other languages. They have both won several popular awards for their many hit songs from films in their careers. Both have very melodious and refined vocals for mainstream Indian cinema.
@waleska fyi India also has rich classical dancing coming from different regions of India and you see a glimpse of them in these Bollywood songs. Checkout these dancing’s as well they are equally mesmerising.
Actually it is a family , three of them are couple , three fathers of actresses , one in- laws and three actors are brothers in this movie ... Eldest brother is already married in this movie and remaining two brothers are getting engaged so this is their engagement ceremony and couples are dancing and singing ....😊 That purple colour dressed lady ... She is their sister in law in this movie . And in last they go to that lady she is their mother in law.

Happy New Years guys

@waleska fyi India also has rich classical dancing coming from different regions of India and you see a glimpse of them in these Bollywood songs. Checkout these dancing’s as well they are equally mesmerising.
Actually it is a family , three of them are couple , three fathers of actresses , one in- laws and three actors are brothers in this movie ... Eldest brother is already married in this movie and remaining two brothers are getting engaged so this is their engagement ceremony and couples are dancing and singing ....😊
That purple colour dressed lady ... She is their sister in law in this movie . And in last they go to that lady she is their mother in law.
