    What I like with Mazda cars is the bullet proof engine reliability plus a very beautiful design inside and out. I like minimalistic design very simple but elegant.

      Bullet proof Engine is wright. You can´t destroy this Engines. The 2L and 2.5L Engines are the best from Mazda that´s for sure.

    Great to see that Mazda is continuing to move forward on all aspects of their vehicle. Mazda interiors have always been very ergonomic and easy to use. Kudos for removing piano black surfaces and replacing them with harder wearing but no less upmarket surfaces.
    I thought in the EV modes there was a way to do extra charging by setting a charge target, but I suppose that takes care of the regen settings itself.
    Mazda is known for putting more emphasis on driving feel and in this regard has traditionally been a maker that ensures less driver interruptions in terms of for example ESC and AEB kicking in later and their absolute disdain for CVT transmissions (or anything that slows the driver down). With this in mind, I suspect they also have less regen interruptions which is a shame. They worked hard to make the MX-30 EV as close to a drivers car as possible, which removed the obvious EV benefits of one pedal driving that many EV drivers are coming to expect.
    Likewise autonomous driving aids are not their forte (albeit it is roadmapped).
    I want Mazda to stick to their ethos of Jinba Ittai, but bring on some more driver aids I say.

    Thanks. Appreciate that. I have the 2023 Mazda CX-50 GT Turbo (for Canada) and currently loving it. However, the CX-70 (I guess, the slightly larger version of your CX-60) would be interesting to see and test drive as soon it arrives in North America. Your impressive presentation of the CX-60 (2.5 L NA with hybrid) already gave us a general sense of what to expect from the CX-70 of the same powertrain. Looking forward to your next video on the CX-60 inline 6 turbo with mild hybrid.

    Nice vid. Really like the smooth styling of the CX-60, looks though and elegant at the same time.
    Did the wide centerconsole bother you while driving? Enough space for your right leg/knee?
    Was also hoping the digital dashboard had a little bit more options, like showing the maps,.. seems that it not available?
    Not applicable in Portugal right now, but with it's big battery, does it come with stand heating?

    First off, a nice review. Thank-you. The cx-60 body styling looks almost reminiscent to the BMW X1 (2012) model with a long hood that's my opinion. Unfortunately, as more details emerge about the car the less interested I feel I become. Although, Mazda makes beautiful cars but 9/10 times it's just squeeze at the rear for almost all their models. You barely had a mere cm or two to spare. The center tunnel where the gear shift is looks nice but rather broad. At 6.25 minute mark your legs look rather squeezed. Did you felt it that way? Hard suspension is a big no for such cars, I feel. Also, dislike how the LED turn signals flash as if fitted with halogen bulbs. If that was the intention, then Mazda should have just saved cost and use halogens instead. They should take lead from the new Renault Austral. The light clusters are just amazingly done with sequentials front and rear. Lastly, if I hear you correctly the cx-60 phev does not offer regenerative power from breaking etc that in itself would had been something nice to include. Oh well, at least Mazada is still trying..

    Try changing your podcast station while driving and using navigation with that stupid control knob.
    Mazda just needs to offer a full touchscreen. CarPlay and Android Auto are designed for TOUCH.

    • @asiaautoambassador9810
      @asiaautoambassador9810  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I party agree, but for all other infotainment content, a knob in combination with voice control is quite smart.

    • @benoitbonten1438
      @benoitbonten1438 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      giving the choice between touchscreen and knob would have been the icing on the cake. but you can't blame mazda for taking care of the security , full touchscreen infotainment is just a pain to use and dangerous, except if you only drive on highways ...

    • @haze1123

      @@benoitbonten1438 I agree that choice would be best... but you still have to look at the screen using the knob.
