Harry Perry "Heads of Skin" Live - Venice Beach 2024

April 30, 2024 - Venice Beach, CA (of course) - This dude is legend. Played with many cool groups and musicians and is a fixture of Venice. You'll see him in every history book or documentary of Venice Beach. And he seems to always live in the moment, not givva fuuuuck. He let me use his music in the very first series I made. (Generation neXt). This is actually the song I used. One of my favorites. When Paper Tiger NYC and Deep Dish Satellite beamed our series, and his music, to Africa and Asia, I told Harry, thinking he'd be excited, but he just said: "Cool. Can I have 5 Bucks?" - LOL!

Thank you so much for posting this I've lost track of Harry in the last 2 years. I lost the cassette that I bought from him in 1987 and it was so cool : it was really just raw live to two track recording and I wish I could find that again.

Me too. I'd not seen him there anytime over the last few years. I was thrilled he was still alive, healthy and doing his thing.
