As someone who initially was (and still kinda is) super pissed at the changes made this patch, it’s nice to hear top players also acknowledging the positives like the Goku Black and Videl buffs that were needed :)
Everyone is complaining about Vegito but all they really gave him was more sauce and damage. I still think the most annoying characters are UI Goku, S Broly, Baby, Z Broly, Nappa and Majin Buu. Some of these characters have stupid mix that most people don't even know about

I continue to love this game and I hope that theyre willing to do some hotpatching on issues that these pros mentioned. Its OK lowering the competitive ceiling a bit to make the full roster more viable, but it sounds like even with that goal there's already a few classic high tiers that need nerfs and classically underrepresented characters that the patch only hurt.
Im honestly fine. The game is over half a decade old, its competitive scene is slowly dying and devs made the right choice breathing life into the casual play side. Its time to simply enjoy the game without sweating now.
best change for me would be majin 21 lvl 3 that she can choose which steals she gets, yes its not the old oki, but she can still manage to get a safejump IAD jM or hit a 3M, and if any of those are blocked or hit you already have more value than with the old mix lvl 3....i think its a way better approach to implement more of the characters kit into the gameplay as a whole than just *here have broken lvl 3 mix back kthxbye* that would feel kinda lame to me... too bad we are in a state of the game where imidiate BS levels of power trump everything

I'm overall happy with the patch now that everything has died down my only real complaints are the full screen normals and the overbuffing of Vegito
