Really? To me it was very obvious. Dylan has zero recollection of the lane, Julie says she's not the same, Gaby jokes about her being replaced and then the Dad says he doesn't see Dylan in Katherine (before the damning DNA test). It was obvious to me and IMO the worst secret of all.
@@therealsamtheman I figured it out when I saw the gash on the wooden floor. I think I read a mystery book once with a VERY similar plot element - kid tries to reach toy on top of wardrobe, pulls wardrobe on top of themselves and getting crushed to death. So when I saw the gash in the floor it immediately reminded me of that story, and after that everything else just fit. Idk if Desperate Housewives ripped off the idea from a book, or if it was the other way around.
Her secret wasn't that hard to figure out, but hiding everything from her new neighbors, including her old friend, was the hard part for her. Plus, Wayne was unhinged. He was an abusive husband, but it still would hurt to know Dylan died, likely taking his anger out on Katherine.
Katherine’s secret was actually the peak of desperate housewives. Season 4 brought it back to its peak because people weren’t expecting that kind of secret .

Man Katherine Mayfair and Angie Bolen could have been great friends if Katherine wasn’t such mentally unstable person in Season 6. Such lost potential. Secretly was hoping that Dylan Mayfair and Danny Bolen could have met each other too.

I imagined what it would have been like if Dylan Mayfair and Danny Bolen both met and bonded over shared family secrets and knowing what it’s like being a family on the run. They would have had a lot of chemistry. However I don’t think would have been appropriate given the age difference since the five year jump.
Katherine was so strong in season 4. It's too bad seasons 5-6 didn't know what to do with her character.
