I was in my early teens when I first saw this TV series. this narrator voice really turned me on.

These replies are disgusting. Her point was that people stealing shouldn’t be anyone’s priority because they’re just material items, the priority should be solely on providing aid and rescuing survivors. Dealing with theft should come after, but of course law enforcement primarily exists to protect property not people. And regarding her english, it’s not her first language, who cares if it wasn’t perfect.

Brenda Strong was absolutely perfect for the narrative. I still think of her as "Ann Ewing" in the Dallas remake, but she'll always be "Mary Alice Young".

This was good to see. I've always loved her narration during each show. The drama and the comedy were always good. But Brenda's narration helped this show to be different. I still love Desperate Housewives to this day.

I've never understood why people were laughing at her. She was truly schoked on how the government was not doing anything to help those people. Indeed take a kayak and save people. It's more important than her 1 million dollar. She grew up in a very poor family and she knows than money is not everything.

I imagined what it would have been like if Dylan Mayfair and Danny Bolen both met and bonded over shared family secrets and knowing what it’s like being a family on the run. They would have had a lot of chemistry. However I don’t think would have been appropriate given the age difference since the five year jump.
