I love how oversimplified they made the skit between Katherine and Wayne. It’s so comedic.

They were perfectly explained during the series.
Because they were mysteries during the season???
Because they're slowly revealed across the season. Yeah once you know it it's no longer a mystery but when you start a season for the first time and the mystery is introduced. You don't know what it is, thus its a mystery to you. But it wouldn't be very interesting or satisfying if we never found out.
