    I may have missed it, but how many teeth on the rear sprocket? Thanks bro! Just picked up a 2013 with lots of performance mods. I love it so far.

    The WR250R is bad ass. It is hands down the best 250 dual sport. My engine is stock, no mods. I put a 52 tooth rear sprocket and new enduro tires front and rear. I only ride off road, single track and hard enduro. The WR250R is definitly on the heavy side and has less power and suspension than a enduro bike, but, I am able to keep up and hold my own running with my friends that ride straight up enduro bikes and go everywhere they can go on the hard enduro rides. It is definitly more work on the WR250R but it is very capable offroad.

      Wondering how is the 13/52 combination off road, can the front wheel be popped up easily in 2nd or 3rd gear without using the clutch ?

    • @johnguilbert1349
      @johnguilbert1349 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@volcanic5187 In some cases yes in second it depends on where you are in the power band and your rear tire size and traction etc but I would normally clutch up to make sure I get the front wheel up when needed.

    Great video man. Very informative. I am going to purchase one new or if I can find one with upgrades and low miles. So I am watching all the videos. Yamaha has 0 down 0% apr and no payments for 90 days right now...decisions decisions.

    • @MotoBeto82
      @MotoBeto82  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, glad it was useful. You can find them used in good condition and at a good price. People look to upgrade bikes with more power often. Just gotta find the ones that took care of them. Of course brand new is always nice. Either way, you can't go wrong. They last forever if you take care of it and they are fun little bikes with tons of aftermarket parts and accessories.

      Thank you. No sir, I'm in the coastal bend part of Texas. I've never been in the panhandle area of Texas but I'm assuming the terrain is pretty flat like it is down here. Probably very similar in appearance.

    When you did the performance upgrades, did you change the sprockets the same time you did other mods? Curious if you felt a difference from the exhaust, airbox and programmer mods alone, thanks!

    • @MotoBeto82
      @MotoBeto82  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I did them at different times. I definitely felt the difference in the throttle response and power band in the low to mid. Nothing too crazy though. After all, it is a 250.

    • @MotoBeto82
      @MotoBeto82  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    With all the performance parts you installed. How many hp and tq did you gain

    • @MotoBeto82
      @MotoBeto82  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't know. I didn't put it on the dyno tune before or after all the upgrades. It's a noticeable difference though. Keep in mind that it still is a 250. If I had to guess.....I would say somewhere between 5 and 10 hp.
