I love Assassin's Creed I -II AND EVEN III was fun to play till the end. But then after III I lost interest and IV hit me in the heart and reminded me why I loved this series, unfortunately after IV and Rogue it's like this series took a completely different route and stopped being the badass, historical fiction, heavy character developed masterpiece it was when Ezio's story came and ended along with Altïar's.

The AC franchise had it coming from a mile away. If they'd realised they weren't doing much to the formula of AC2 in the two follow ups they made, they would have put more time to make something more memorable. After AC2 there was no real innovation in the games, just tiny bits being added along each game release.
