Random thought but around 9:20 whenever he's talking about how he felt like he was overshooting, it COULD definitely have been the lightweight nature of the mouse. But also, finalmouse seems to have dpi deviation that leans towards the high end. So whenever you configure it for what looks like 400 dpi in the software, it actually comes out around 425-500dpi. Different mice have different deviations brand-to-brand and mouse-to-mouse, with some popular mice like g pro x superlight tending to have dpi deviation towards the slower side. So maybe 375 true dpi for 400 configured dpi. dpi deviation can also change with different mouse feet. It could definitely be that the reviewer switched from a mouse that tends to shoot on the lower-side of dpi to the finalmouse, and the finalmouse probably had a true dpi that hits way higher. So whenever he plugged in his exact same old sens, it felt like it was too fast which made him gradually lower his sens to bring the true edpi back in line. The reason I think it's probably this over weight is because while lighter mice are easier to move quickly, they're also much easier to stop on a whim so overshooting shouldn't be a huge problem due to lighter weight in my experience. Optimum Tech has a great video on DPI deviation. Even if the difference were small, like 425dpi vs expecting 400, that turns a 32 cm/360 into a 30 cm/360 which is HUGE when you consider how tiny micro-adjustments are in games.
My issues with Final Mouse is simple. They cannot meet production needs and are a company based on "hype". I wish I could purchase a newer model however that has been turned impossible. The idea that Final Mouse can "Meet productions for all" is a straight lie because they constantly release limited models of the same mouse with different colors rather than produce a consistent stream of singular color mouse's.
Of course it is not worth it to pay 200+ bucks for a mouse. Everyone, who thinks different, is just very very confused and should do some additional research.
Final mouse is ranked by boardzy pretty badly and I respect his opinions. If a company does primarily exclusive drops or things like that artificially creating scarcity, that means they are manipulating the market and feeding off the overblown hype. There's 0 reason to buy from a company like that who's playing you for a fool and making money off that. There's a reason they have horrible qc issues and it's because they are trying to increase their margins by the hair and sacrificing quality and longevity. They finally made a quality mouse, but with a ridiculous price markup. So typical of a company full of bs. They fool you with hype and it works. Don't get played, get even.
when he mentioned about a crooked scroll wheel, he should have gave context for it. people who dont follow mice and peripherals have no idea that that actually means that final mouse has a LONG history of selling overpriced QC nightmares.
He is putting his name on the mouse. So if the mouse underperforms or has issues then his name gets dragged through mud. There's no way he risks this PR disaster for measly 20k. He makes more than that in a month from Twitch subs
I think the g pro wireless is way better. I bought the tenz and returned it cause I thought it was so bad. The design and concept is very cool, but I think the sensor and stiff left/right button switches make the mouse feel a little off.
I own it. It is a good mouse, my first time purchasing Finalmouse. I knew about all the controversy and also heard about all the positive reviews. I decided to buy a Finalmouse product and form my own opinion. For the TenZ drop, anyone who wanted one could easily buy one. Stock was available, you just had to be on time to buy one. Mine had zero quality issues so the shape, weight, and the infinityskins feel fantastic. This easily holds up against the Superlight. Buy it if you can afford it, but remember that no gear will automatically make you a better player.
Thing is, there are more and more lightweight mice in the market, some with much better QC. I also broke and bought a Starlight Phantom, and immediately regretted my decision. Clicks were loose and heavy at the same time, scroll wheel felt horrible-- just generally not a good mouse. Won't be buying one again.
I feel like this is a dumb question since it’s just a different color and has different engravings than the starlight 12. That mouse has been out so it’s not like the “tenz mouse” is any different
I've always made an effort to purchase Finalmouse products with the liberty of knowing if I didn't like it I could always resell it and go back to my GPX Superlight. I've had the Superlight Phantom and Starlight Ares (Medium) both of which I disliked, but I got both the medium and small TenZ editions and while I still dislike the medium I found the small shape extremely comfortable for fingertip. At this point I can't even really go back to my GPX Superlight. I thought I would always prefer palm grip since it's pretty much the only thing anyone used growing up in CS with 80-100g mice, but this is the first time I found fingertip comfortable and a much prefer it. That said it did take some getting used to, and I had to drop my sens from .3 800 to .25 800 in Valorant. As for QC I've been using it for about a month now, the scroll wheel is slightly to the left but not so much that it impacts any other parts of the mice, the clicks are solid, no rattle or flex, and the battery lasts about 2 weeks with quite a bit of daily use. I still don't like Finalmouse as a company, from their QC, to the limited drops, to their marketing, and their failure to update their design outside of materials for the last 6 years, but the TenZ small is my current main mouse so I guess I can't complain too much.
its good BUT even retail price is overpriced and shit QC. there are many cheaper and better mice. its also way too light for claw/palm, and if you ftip you could just get hsk or aria
@Dom nah there is no need for u to spend on much on additional button and rgb lol.A normal mouse can literally did the job lol.Literally everythings that exist on this planet is overpriced, from keyboard, mousepad to shoes, shirts, pants.
i dont really agree with the idea that the ninja mouse was the beginning of them becoming big i think it was their first "honeycombed mice" that really started it such as the sunset or the phantom
There are no excuses for everything being that much more expensive than the competition. It's all snakeoil for rich people who want to brag about the brand they own. Pure hypebeast nonsense
Disappointed that “the guy who actually knows what he’s talking about” doesn’t talk about the polling rate or if there’s any tracking issues or if the switches the mouse uses feel consistent with different grips or the input lag on the mouse. Just “yeah it’s light and people like it” lol
People under estimate mousepads. Instead of going from a 72g mouse to 95g, just get a more controlled mousepad. It's cheaper and will make a bigger difference.
Shape is king weight shouldn't matter. It may feel slightly off at first sometimes taking upwards of a week to get used to it but youll gain significant mouse control to be able to stop the mouse in the process and the more mouse control you have the better your aim will be and that skill will transfer to any mouse. Please I'm begging you to trust me on this one

I have a starlight 12 and it is epic
they should've partnered with aceu instead. he's already been using starlight as his main mouse, plus he's the 🐐🐐🐐
Dmitry you should get the ZA11-B V2. it has the same weight but with paracorded cable and shlightly faster feet.. lets go...
Everyone, who thinks different, is just very very confused and should do some additional research.
get yourself a vancer mouse pad and superglide mouse skates 10/10 combination
i hope to have starlight 12 ares edition one day
Final mouse is ranked by boardzy pretty badly and I respect his opinions.
Nah man I rock an xm1r. I’m not trying to charge my mouse and the shape is fucking perfect for how I hold a mouse
honestly logitech and razer are fine because it’s so much easier to get a replacement when you have qc issues. that and better software
when he mentioned about a crooked scroll wheel, he should have gave context for it. people who dont follow mice and peripherals have no idea that that actually means that final mouse has a LONG history of selling overpriced QC nightmares.
A mouse that retailed for 180+. Even if Tenz got $30 per mouse, he'd make 1.2 million!
there is noooo way FM is giving him 30 per mouse lmao
@Zygy __ I even doubt that, they probably paid him a flat fee, FM is cheap as fuck
He is putting his name on the mouse. So if the mouse underperforms or has issues then his name gets dragged through mud. There's no way he risks this PR disaster for measly 20k. He makes more than that in a month from Twitch subs
I use the glorious model O and it's really good and I think it's similar to the final mouse
I think the g pro wireless is way better. I bought the tenz and returned it cause I thought it was so bad. The design and concept is very cool, but I think the sensor and stiff left/right button switches make the mouse feel a little off.
Quick questions: I really love the look of the phantom but i heard the Tenz one is better, wich one to get?
I still use my mx518. The mouse is over 15 years old.
Which rank are you my friend
i have the phantom small , the width is ok , but the height is short.
I have a logitech g pro(wireless) . Its great, highly recommended
They were small company able to shift whole mouse industry forward. Sadly its hard to buy mouse from them and you become their tester for $200.
Fucking finally. I thought you left the channel.
prefrence isn't really an option with mice weight. how are you gonna stop the mouse as soon as possible with heavier mice.
Mx master 3s is the only mouse you should ever buy. Period.
its good BUT even retail price is overpriced and shit QC. there are many cheaper and better mice. its also way too light for claw/palm, and if you ftip you could just get hsk or aria
name 5 better mice than the starlight 12 that are cheaper
Unless you got tiny hands you won't palm it regardless lol. I have big hands and I use a claw hybrid of sorts and it's fine
@@asoidfhowehjr8248 heard some people with small hands palm a medium but yeah idk i dont have small hands
How 180 retail price overpriced when that the average retail price
@Dom nah there is no need for u to spend on much on additional button and rgb lol.A normal mouse can literally did the job lol.Literally everythings that exist on this planet is overpriced, from keyboard, mousepad to shoes, shirts, pants.
But it is not full metal and strong like T-1000. Forget the weight. Hopefully someone make it.
i dont really agree with the idea that the ninja mouse was the beginning of them becoming big i think it was their first "honeycombed mice" that really started it such as the sunset or the phantom
There are no excuses for everything being that much more expensive than the competition. It's all snakeoil for rich people who want to brag about the brand they own. Pure hypebeast nonsense
ok but can we talk about how cracked Nile is at valiant
*clicks on video with a tenz finalmouse*
Disappointed that “the guy who actually knows what he’s talking about” doesn’t talk about the polling rate or if there’s any tracking issues or if the switches the mouse uses feel consistent with different grips or the input lag on the mouse. Just “yeah it’s light and people like it” lol
I was bronze now im immortal because of Tenz finalmoose
Now I am radiant 😂
I was Silver and watched a Tenz video, now im joining Sentinels
1:47 the secret is that they still do that. my tenz mouse actually does this lmao
6:36 "QA" issues ? :D i mean they got that too but i think you meant QC
Do a video on voltaic. Or do a video on the lightest mouse with the sky pad 3.0
my small tenz mouse at 43 grams could be lighter tbh. its a bit heavy
Lmao it's soo funny how I got Logitech 502x mouse add on this very video 😂😂😂.
Lol no one said about Omron 20m on the gpx when it cost more
i went from ninja version in to superlight 2
Superlight is still the king of the lightweight mice and it does not look like cheese grater that sucks up all the dust in your room.
Check out Zaunkoenig M2K, GPX is no where near in terms of weight.
People under estimate mousepads. Instead of going from a 72g mouse to 95g, just get a more controlled mousepad. It's cheaper and will make a bigger difference.
still have first original one sitting pretty shit(early adopters with them double click issue) next to mine current one
"Finalmouse don’t just produce gaming mice: they make exclusive works of art"
That look like tacky, Kinder Surprise toys.
when is someone going to make a wireless lightweight moba mouse. aka the gpro but with the g604 button layout.
Probably not a huge market for it, people only really prefer lightweight for aiming which isn't as prevalent in MOBAs.
They made 7.5 million dollars on 40 k mice…. Damn! 😅
Don't buy if u use scrollwheel for jump or changing weapons, it will f
u up
Superlight is still better considering how much more accessible it is.
Ever since I used the Superlight I can’t see myself ever using something else I tried the finalmouse it just wasn’t working for me lol
The logitech g pro superlight? If so I have the same and love it. I came from the g502 and love the light feeling. I was worried about latency moving to a wireless mouse as well but damn it's smooth.
@@joshuafraser3627 yessir. I’d love if they made a Superlight with a metal frame that’s literally the only thing I wish it could have. I’ve had it for like 6 months and never going back
superlight shape is just so neutral, almost everyone can get comfortable with it
Same. I'm just waiting for a superlight refresh at this point with optical switches. Tried optical switches on DA V2 Mini and it truly gave me some benefits in the games i play and the the fact that it won't double click gave me extra reassurance although its shape didn't work for me. Superlight fits my hand and grip so well.
Me with my glorious model O wired.
Yes...
that mouse is still real good especially for the price.
@@xxcridonxx7614 ik, lot of ppl says its overrated or dogshit only good for minecraft.
@@xxcridonxx7614 nah I rather use my default mouse than spending $100 for a mouse just to game
@@gladiatorgamer9502 Shape is king, but decent specs are also important. GPX might be too much for an average gamer but I wouldn’t game on a $10 office mice that can’t keep track of my movement properly.
@@gladiatorgamer9502 glorious O wireless costs 50$
nah the "newly released" red superlight with micro usb is still infinitely better /s
still confused on the weight. i love the heavier mice. i have a g305 and game hours on end and nothing gets sore or fatigues. how are people getting tired moving a AA battery around? They weigh nothing
I bought one today, so not really sold out
The best mouse ofc.
but the shape is not that good.
the best shape ever created is Steelseries Prime
for those rich and always using wireless mouse I think it's good for them... for me I practiced small mouse and lightweight mice like RAZER VIPER MINI (not wireless)... but this mice of TENZ is good also but the price can't afford by all hehe that's all for my opinion
Stewie Heckin loves TenZ
Ya the starlight is cool but have you tried a zaunkoenig m2k
damn nachocustomz is in the video
top 10 reasons to not buy the finalmouse
1. it's trash
2. same as 1
3. same as 2
4. same as 3
5. same as 4
6. same as 5
7. same as 6
8. same as 7
9. same as 8
10. same as 9
I have the mouse but I dislike it, I have the scroll wheel problem tenz had in his match and there’s no solution
g502 hero with full weights is still too light for me :(
And I'm sitting here with my 135-gram Logitech G603 mouse watching guys talk about a mouse that is 3 times lighter than mine lol
