I have been painting with dual chrome recently {mostly Jellyfish), as well as making my own glow in the dark/ fluorescent paints using mod podge and mica powders, I have found this and the previous video rather helpful. Will have to get myself a small paint mixer.

I love these long ones. I watch them all the way through once then put them in a playlist that I listen to when I go to bed. I can’t sleep with silence but regular “sleep background noise” drives me crazy so I just have your videos playing in the background 😂
I know! My husband makes fun of me for listening to their gaming videos, but I have zero interest in most video games and I love hearing E and K talk. Feels like family chatting away as I sew or clean.

I feel like you just need a finger placed on the top of the jar while it mixes. We used to use those with tubes and you just need to loosely hold it down. Then your whole arm doesn't need to be vibrated as you hold so firmly.
I wouldn't trust myself enough for that. 😂
its pressure sensitive you have to press down on it to turn it on.
I think she only did that because Evan turned on the “press” mode, verses just like on/off mode.
In the stream- one flew off and onto the ground because they weren't holding it tight enough

okay, so hear me out..... how about......picture this..... you guys buy some good paint brush set ..... and then..... make the handles with transparent resin with cool colors and/or glitters etc, like the resin pencils and the knives....

so that way you guys can have an actual paint brush set and not struggle with those squared tip ones xD it was kinda painful watching you guys trying to do a gradient look smooth with them hahahahahaha and also get a video out of some custom brush set :v so you guys can also list it as a business expense AAAHM ??? ♡

I see so many people asking for Katelyn’s painting on a shirt, and I concur! It would even make a perfect tattoo! Like you said, it’s a classic skull motif, plus you’ve placed the flowers and leaves in a traditional tattoo placement, and the bold black outlines just tie everything together so beautifully! It comes off so perfectly neotrad, and the whole thing just gives me such happy feelings! Unfortunately they can’t make duochrome tattoo ink because the skin layers over the layer of skin that holds the ink would dull it so much it would basically be pointless. ☹️

As a PTA I'm so glad you're going to PT! Make sure you let them know if something doesn't feel right to you. If they don't listen, leave and go someplace they will listen to you! Hope you're getting better!
I'm a simple man, i see E&K drop vid, I like and spend my time watching the whole stream
I can't explain why, but these twitch stream videos motivate me. I watch some and every time, so far, I want to organize/clean. I actually save these videos for when I've been lazy with housework. Never fails...15-20 minutes in...I want to clean. I pause the video, get stuff done, watch more and repeat.
I don't know if it's their positive attitudes making me more positive, or that they are being productive and make me want to be also, or what. All I know is I have watched hours and hours of videos I never thought I'd even get half way through, because they have a positive effect on me.

For paper funnels, try using magazine pages - the waxy paper will not adhere the particles, so the powder flows better and it's not caught, you can totally reuse it :)
I wished I could make it to the live but I had a softball tournament and I was so disappointed. We did win the championships though.

I have a band poster on my wall that has a glow in the dark skull behind some smoke, it occasionally spooks me when I forget about it.

wait did i just hear that they are moving? after all the work they have done to remodel part of their house? idk if that was just like moving studios thing or if they are actually moving houses. i hope they dont move they redid their attic, a bedroom, their laundry room, their garage, their front door, their back patio. and so many other house projects.

Honestly that interference red paint was the best choice for the flower. Made it two toned in the best natural way.

I love the variety of the type of projects they do on this channel, whether it's woodworking, art projects, DIYs etc but always enjoy seeing Katelyn's art skills at work, especially thru so many mediums (drawing, painting, digital art etc).

Also, please do a stream of drawing things from memory! You could both try to draw the same prompt from memory but you only get a few minutes to create your masterpieces.
Just a bit of a tip for using the vortex mixer, if no one has said it, unless it is just for filming purposes and to not cover the view, it is easier to hold the container on the vortex mixer down with the palm of your hand rather than fingers, like if you were to push a large button. And the hence if you leave it on auto mode it will be much more comfortable

I wish I had been watching this live. Cuz I could have suggested you painting the cat skull and then when it was dry do the shape of a ghost cat in the glow in the dark. Both of the Arts came out amazing!
Friendly artist PSA: DO NOT DRY ACRYLIC PAINT WITH A HEAT GUN! Heat will cause a chemical change and alter the colors! Use a hair dryer on no heat. Love ya!

The aqua glow paint that Katelyn made is similar to an idea I had as a kid for my room. Growing up I had this idea for my dream room, and if I am honest I still want something like this now, I am 21 and I had this idea when I was 10 I think. The idea was a room that was the outside inside. I wanted a green grass-like rug/carpet, trees and animals and other nature-y things painted on the walls and I wanted the ceiling to look like the blue daytime sky during the day and at night I wanted it to look like the night sky. To get this day/night sky thing I wanted to do stripes across my ceiling with a bright/pale bright/daytime sky color blue and then a glow in the dark blue with stars or something for the night sky. And then for some reason my 10 year old brain was like and lets paint rock-n-roll style flames on the door that would be cool!
I never did any of this but I want to so badly! Sadly I have no money and no room of my own that I can paint like this...yet but hopefully in the future.
idea for you put a little bluetac in the bottom of the mixer to hold the paint pot in place while it mixes
Can y'all do text to speech donations or is that not a feature on youtube yet? That would definitely help allow y'all to both do art at the same same and interact with chat more
They actually steam on Twitch, and as far as I know right now Twitch doesn’t offer that feature. (Or if they do, I don’t know anyone who uses it, so I’m not sure how well they work.) Twitch does allow a custom notification sound though, so that you can get a sound for subs, bits, etc. It’s a really good idea though, and if Twitch offers it, I think it would be really good for E&K, so I hope they see this!
@@poppycartergraphics120 oh I didn’t know for sure if they were on Twitch. I actually watch some twitch streamers that sometimes have it so their donation messages are read aloud. I don’t know how they set this up, but it’s actually pretty common on twitch, from what I’ve seen. I think that would help them a lot
@@PaxxTan Ah okay. I only watch gamers on Twitch, and the ones I watch usually don’t have any notification sounds at all so that the viewers can hear the game, so I was unaware of that feature. It sounds really helpful!
Yes! doodle stream without any references would be a fun streammm~~ I love watching KickthePJ's doodlestreams or him drawing characters only from memory and compare how different it is from the actual image
Please don't change it from Science Adjacent. I like that. Plus, you already have a catchy song for it. Maybe combine the two ideas? You are both great artists. I enjoy watching you do artwork. I would love to see you try the spray paint galaxies and planets techniques.
