  • This was challenging installing an exhaust fan in a steel building.. check it out to see how I did it. I wired it to... Not bad for a plumber...

    Great job. I would recommend using the Haslet Frames for the outside. They seal against water leaks and give you a good looking installation on the exterior side.

    They should give installation instructions.. I will cut a 21” circle so I can secure it with the flange

    Use WAGO connectors, better, faster, take up less space in box

    This is very interesting, I'm impressed you did this alone, the fan looks very heavy.

    Problem is 21” is the entire diameter of the unit.. no place for the flange to secure to

      I measured to the inside of the flange... so I had the flange to secure it ...

    ya can't put 2 ground wires under one screw, supposed to make a jumper from the two, so a single wire goes under the screw, oy vey
