    This man knows EXACTLY what to do with his hair. When I grow up I'm gonna get my hair all greased up and slick it all the way back.

    The leaf is to turn the display lights on and off. You are correct about plugging in another fan in the last slot. Getting that fan soon but have to of their other fans with same controllers.

    I'm setting mine up and so far it looks very durable and easy. I'm just trying to figure out how to run the thermometer probe because I'm actually using this indoor. I know that indoor is not its intended use.

      You need the thermostat whether it is indoors or outdoors if you want it to work based on the temperature.

    Thanks for responding I was also asking if you knew about the intake vent what would be a good place to put it I figured I put the 10 inch fan in the back top of the greenhouse and the intake vent in the front on one of the lower panels. what size intake vent do you think would work well
    TIA

    I'm confused. Why install the display so high? You need a ladder to adjust it.

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rafter that the display is on is just above head level. It's easy to reach.

    I just ordered the 10 inch for my 10x12 greenhouse it looks pretty easy to install i have a 6 inch louvered vent that i want to install in the lower front of the greenhouse but i think i may look for a larger vent for the front....any thoughts?

      @@PirateStu yes I did last week and it works great had to add a 20 inch high velocity fan to the green house to draw air in I am still in the process of figuring out what to install for an intake haven’t been able to find a vent large enough just came across this and thinking about getting 2 of them

    Nice job! I'm going to install mine today. How it working for ya? Does it manage the temp well?

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it works really well. We also have a large panel on each end that we can open up when it's warm, but since our ceiling is pretty low, the fan keeps it from getting hot in the rafters.

    Where’s the humidity meter/valve? Is it in the control/display unit?

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I think so. Probably would be best to Google the manufacturer's info.

    This is not an intuitive device I still can’t figure out the settings and how it cycles and how to adjust fan intensity
    It’s really confusing which one to plug into as well and why

    Nice! The controller could go a bit close to the floor right? So its not so difficult to reach? Do you feel the difference now with the fan?

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you could mount it lower. The fan makes a huge difference.

    How is the fan working for you. I am in the process of building a 14x 28 greenhouse also. I also live in the memphis area [Millington} Do you think the 10 in fan would work?

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It kept the green house cool enough over the last summer, so it has worked well.

  • @dski8097

    $270? That seems like a big chunk of change for just a vent fan.

    • @PirateStu
      @PirateStu  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you have the time to monitor the temp and manually turn a fan on and off, you can get by a lot cheaper. We like to be able to go out of town occasionally, so automation was worth the expense.

      @@PirateStu I have the 12". I originally bought another without remote option, but immediately canceled and ordered another. I didn't even open the other when it came. Having cell phone access is worth it.
