Just got Overland 4XE and we love it. This thing rides soooooooooooooooooo well. Summit was way to costly for me. The fancy seats, night vision and HUD, I couldn't care less. The Overland was a value for us. I took a Range Rover for a test, just to feel it, and I have to say, the Jeep rides just like it. The air ride is amazing.
@@nooshinalonzo2139 I would not lease another one. A bit disappointed after almost 1.5 years now. Love the car, don’t care for hybrid. Next one will be V6. The 4XE concept is useless.
Nice review. What kind of speaker system is it? Is Navigation Google? Does back-door open/close with key? You did not show how to put the back seat down - grrr Thanks.
Hi, It is a 6 speaker system. The navigation is what Jeep provides, but the infotainment system does support Android Auto and Apple Carplay so you can use Google Maps if you connect your phone to the car. The tailgate does open with the keyfob. The second row seats can be put down by pulling the same handle that you pull to recline them. see 10:35. Unfortunately though there is no way to put the seats down from the trunk.
Great review!!!. Answering your question, I think the back seats lock/unlocked buttons are for security reasons when for example, the people in the front seats leave the car for any reason, and you are at the back you are gonna be able to lock the doors and also unlocked the doors when they came back. I see it as a very nice idea, very useful. In Argentina where I live this kind of things are even more useful due to the lack of security there is.
Thank you.. Ahh I see. But all the cars have a manual lock you can use no? Like manually lock or unlock the door next to you? Also I don’t think this button locks all the doors, it just disables the door opening mechanism you press it for, so for the next attempt at opening that door it won’t open, but then after that it will.
I love this car. I just got one with the dark green color that looks black. It’s beautiful! I don’t like this tan interior from the video, I’m glad I got mine in black lol
Nice 👍 yeah I think generally speaking black leather would last longer as well. Though beware, the seats and other stuff that is covered in black leather will get very hot in summer if you live in an area with hot climate. Ask me how I know, lol 😂
Yep its a 6 speaker system. Honestly from what I heard in the car, I think the 6 speakers are just fine. But then again, I am not an Audiophile. You might want to go for the upgraded 9 speaker system if you are used to a higher end system in your current cars. You will be able to tell the difference.
@@automaticYT Thanks for the reply. Im picking up the Jeep GC 4Xe tomorrow which comes with the 9 amplified speakers. I was going to show it to my father tomorrow. If he liked it he would place an order for a 2023 Jeep GC Limited. However he will hear the way the 9 speakers sound LOL. So I think he will want the 9 speaker upgrade. Hey for a 13% discount off of msrp on a custom order. He may as well order it with the 20 inch wheels, luxury package, sunroof and speaker upgrade. The catch is to get that 13% discount off of msrp as well as getting locked in for the December rates. He has to pay the broker fee and have the order in by 12-30-22 11:59pm
Nice video. Btw, you can't get the V8 in the 2-row model. It is only available in the L (three-row) version, beginning with the Overland trim. Also, the tunnel is there because the vehicle is primarily rear-wheel drive, not because its a 4x4. The two-wheel drive version has that tunnel as well.
Well for starters this is quite a bit bigger then those two you mentioned. So you will get more space in the seats and for your cargo in the Jeep. The BMW X3 and VolvoXC60 also start with 4 cylinder engines then there maybe an option to upgrade to V6 but for more money of course, the Jeep has the V6 as standard and you can upgrade to a V8 if you choose. I would think the other two may come in cheaper because they are smaller, so if everything I said above is worth it for the extra money, then I would go for the Jeep.
My Jeep was made in the USA and I don’t get the flag. Also the Easter egg is the versions of the Grand Cherokees over the years. Upper trims can also have ventilated massage seats, 360 cameras, night vision and windshield projection. They get expensive.
My OCD would be on fire with this vehicle. All the piano black with dust, fingerprints along with the display as well would just bother the crap out of me all the time. 😅
Haha piano black for some reason is becoming a premium material for cars. Cars in six figures are now going piano black on the dash too. No one likes piano black, so why they are doing it is beyond me.
The piano black center stack will look like crap after a few months…what are they thinking? After all it is a Jeep. Also, what up with all the chrome trim, the 1970’s are calling. Funny too they. Harvey for paint. Otherwise it’s a very nice looking SUV. My 2020 is at the dealer all the time with constant problems…and I can’t wait to trade it in. .
For real. Piano black is some how a premium material these days. You find it in all kinds of cars. higher end cars. I just don't think there is anything else that is more universally hated then piano black trim, but manufacturers seem to think its premium.
My mother in law will only drive Jeep Grand Cherokee’s. They’ll Only lease them for 3 years bc after the warranty they fall apart faster than they can put them back together. They always have to put wood screws in the back of the front seats to hold the cheap plastic to the frame. They’re gas hogs, transmission problems, electrical problems, engine problems. But what do you expect when you buy a vehicle that is owned by FIAT ?
I have a 2015 JGC and it runs really well. While the gas mileage is not the best, I've had no engine, transmission or electrical issues in the 7 years I've owned it.
@@furmama6592 Yes, the older ones were a lot better than the newer ones. Their driveway is 3 miles long, gravel, dirt and mud, (they own a 10K acre farm in MT).
@@Doc1855 You provide no relevance to the conversation. No one cares about the property they live on and the older ones are a previous generation. Same powertrain in the new ones and you are just spouting nonsense. I’m sorry they’ve had a not great experience but to make it sound like they are not reliable is not a fair comparison as of yet as it’s a new Gen.
I don't comprehend why this vehicle is being priced at 54k when all the creature comforts such as the infotainment and steering cluster looks so outdated, I also don't get why they keep making gear shift dials those things break all the time, I had a fusion with that gear dial and hated it. This vehicle looks just like any 30k vehicle out there.
I do think it’s pricey as well compared to the competition especially because no third row at this price. Also I am not a huge fan of the piano black either.
9:39. Love the genuine commentary about reading. Got a laugh outta me 👍
Good video, getting my new 2023 tomorrow....

Great! Thank you
does it have remote start?
The little Jeep on the glass they call them Easter eggs there should be eight 🤠
Great in depth review. Thank you.
This doesn't have the Luxury Tech II Package does it? Don't see 360 camera option on screen.

How often do you have to charge the 4xe and put gas in it?
@@nooshinalonzo2139 Nightly, cause you get only 28 miles fully charged. That’s it, sadly. Not the greatest. Takes me to work and half way back.
