I've done regular skydiving and the wind is no joke! It's nice they give you the option to cover your face because I should've been aware to cover my face when skydiving. It's interesting knowing how similar and different the experience seems. I find it interesting how bending your legs makes it more difficult during indoor skydiving as keeping them bent during regular skydiving is recommended from what I was told.
I have always ALWAYS wanted to try this! We have one a couple of hours away from me, I need to get a friend who will do this with me so I can try it! Fun video! :)
Trying to budget it so I can go every month. Only got the high fly on my first trip. I figure it's not necessary once I get better at this. Then I can just fly up there on my own. I passed 3 of the level 1 skill on my second trip. Neutral, up and down, and turns. Was working on my forwards and backwards on my last two flights, but my instructor decided not to pass me on those just yet. I'll get that and side to side next time. But on my very last flight, he was able to get further away from me and in front of me rather than hang by my side. I ended up doing 12 2 minute flights on my 2nd trip. 5 2 minute flights with my return flight voucher and 7 more 2 minute flights I purchased for $30 a pop. I'm pretty much "investing" in learning the skills. Then I shouldn't have to spend so much on future trips.
Just went for my 3rd time today and passed Level 1!! Side to Side clicked for me right away. Then I got to do a bit of dynamic flying where I was doing one motion while adjusting my elevation at the same time. I also got to fly with my instructor and got to orbit around the tunnel with him. He also did these tests on me to where he "stole" air from me to try to get me unstable as well as nudge me around. After he did that, he gave me the go ahead to do my own "high flight."
It's way too expensive. You should give people multiple sessions that they can use within a time period. Perhaps that doesn't work for iFly. But I'm really put off by the price frankly.
well no because ur not hovering u are flying when indoor sky song terminal velocity is constant when the wind is on when skydiving you reach terminal velocity at a certain point. i’m an instructor at ifly i work with a bunch of skydivers and they say it’s almost exactly the same if anything skydiving is easier
I did iFly twice in 2022 (Paramus, NJ). When I did an actual skydive in April 2023, my instructor said there was no such thing as indoor skydiving because ... you need sky to do that. ;)

how many minutes does it last?
it depends on how many minutes you buy!
so just for simplisety sake lets say 100 per 2 one minets in denmark 1000 kr or about 150 to 160 dolars for 3 times 2 min
🤯
Short flight very expensive
thanks for sharing your opinion!
How long are you flying for?
ooooh its short! literally a minute or so!
@@ChristineLozada True, but it's also about the same time frame as an actual skydive.
Bro I’m going there this weekend 🤡 scared me
Ooooh I hope it was awesome!!

Should this be called "indoor hovering?" For Skydiving - 1. you need a sky & 2. you must be in the act of falling
i like the name! lol
Shutup. It's called indoor sky diving. Hence the "indoor" part of the name. Imbecile.
