Today marks my first week on T. Been following your posts for the past two years. It's been your courage and family/relationship centered post that finally gave me the courage to accept who I am - it was Tiffany's Love and care for you that helped me tell my life partner. Unfortunately - she could not embark with me on this journey and after 6.5 years I'm doing all of this on my own. Your a lucky man Dade. You two are truly an inspiration.

I'm not sure leaving the hospital so quick would have been my suggestion but you said all is progressing well nonetheless. How are thing lately, it shows that it has been 2 years now.

So glad to hear from you and be informed that all went well. DON'T push working too hard and getting too fatiqued. I've had several surgeries of 5+ hours so I can relate in general. Luckily I'm one of those who is not sickened by long periods of being under anethesia, but I vividly remember just how tired I got by even the slightest exertion. I once asked my parents (I was a teen then) to leave the hospital room cause I needed a nap....just exhausted from talking to them. Oh, if you need dental work in the next three months, you'll find that standard dental anesthetic will have NO effect. Anesthesiologist told me it is a well documented phenom. Cheers and thanks for sharing with us viewers. Get lots of rest Dade!!

I am so glad things have gone well for and pray this wellness continues. You are so courageous to share this journey with us. It is helping me to understand just what my son needs to go through during his transition. He is starting testosterone soon and I never really thought about voice changes and a beard. I appreciate you telling all these things no matter how common sense they should be. Now with the very serious surgeries one must endure there is no doubt in my mind of the courage and strength transgendered individuals have. From surgeries I've had (not of a sexual nature) the surgeon explained that it may take several days while the body gathers all the healing necessities to the surgery site but then you'll be surprised how quickly the body "does its thing" in the healing process. Congratulations on an apparently successful and continuing journey and thanks for keeping your subscribers informed.
Thank you so much for video. I am a 50 year old in my 12 th year of transitioning. I have just found out that I am now covered for bottom surgery and my doctor has filled out the paperwork and now waiting to hear from surgeon, I am so excited.

Okay I just wanna say a few things: 2 years ago before I started HRT I watched all these youtube channels, but yours only had one or two videos, and every month that went by I followed each of your videos. Out of any youtuber, you've helped me out the most; and I share a lot of the same thoughts with the things you say...which is why it helped me so much. Now I'm almost 6 months on T , I had top surgery already, and I want the meta next. Dade, I can't tell you how much your videos have meant to me. I am not trans, but I am touched by what you and your wife have gone through. I am a bi/pan /whatever woman married to the same woman for 18 years. The first video I saw of yours was the one set to that awesome music and it showed your transition on T alone. I was floored! I didn't know that T alone could make such a change! I showed that video to everyone I could! Even the GSA that I advise. It was amazing and so are you…and your wife!

Please be careful with the Percocet. I am an addictions counselor and that one can cause problems. Now with that being said, congratulations on your surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery as well. I can see on your face how good you are feeling right now . I'm happy for your happiness. Watch out the healing. I mean. You are human. Let it go as fast as it goes. Do not force the body to go on. It's recovering. I believe your coworker and costumer will understand the recovering process that u r passing through. Take it easy. Help the body drinking natural juices. (No milk & no sugar) Specially those fruits full of collagen and elastin. That will speed up naturally the wound healing. In case you don't know the human body takes twelve months to fully heal a wound. Watch out 👍👍
When I woke up from my 5 hour top surgery, I felt like I had just been brought back from the dead! It was a really unpleasant recovery, and I still have excruciating electro-shock pain in my chest sometimes, 9 months later...
Skye Taylor I'm sorry, my friend. Sometimes these recoveries take a long time. Top surgery you have to deal with so much nerve regeneration that I can understand why you would still have discomfort. I do too.

Dade, I can't tell you how much your videos have meant to me. I am not trans, but I am touched by what you and your wife have gone through. I am a bi/pan /whatever woman married to the same woman for 18 years. The first video I saw of yours was the one set to that awesome music and it showed your transition on T alone. I was floored! I didn't know that T alone could make such a change! I showed that video to everyone I could! Even the GSA that I advise. It was amazing and so are you…and your wife!

Please be careful with the Percocet. I am an addictions counselor and that one can cause problems. Now with that being said, congratulations on your surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery as well. I can see on your face how good you are feeling right now . I'm happy for your happiness. Watch out the healing. I mean. You are human. Let it go as fast as it goes. Do not force the body to go on. It's recovering. I believe your coworker and costumer will understand the recovering process that u r passing through. Take it easy. Help the body drinking natural juices. (No milk & no sugar) Specially those fruits full of collagen and elastin. That will speed up naturally the wound healing. In case you don't know the human body takes twelve months to fully heal a wound. Watch out 👍👍

When I woke up from my 5 hour top surgery, I felt like I had just been brought back from the dead! It was a really unpleasant recovery, and I still have excruciating electro-shock pain in my chest sometimes, 9 months later...
Skye Taylor I'm sorry, my friend. Sometimes these recoveries take a long time. Top surgery you have to deal with so much nerve regeneration that I can understand why you would still have discomfort. I do too.
Despite all the pain, I'm thankful that I got to have the surgery at all! Plus I'm thankful that I have full sensation in my chest! YAY!

I just started watching your videos and oh man! I was squirming throughout your whole descriptions of your experience but I am so happy for you. I hope you have a fantastic recovery and I look forward to getting to know your family better via TH-cam! I am not trans, but gender non-conforming and a supporter.
