3:20 on the moisture issues: I believe these have the same nozzles as the Starfield 2, and I was getting moisture buildup with those on the very first use. I think it all depends on the ear tips you use. If you use short wide bore tips like the spring tips or spiral dots, you will probably be more likely to get the moisture problems. I bought some Spinfit w1s and my moisture issue went away for the most part.
Me likey the fun sound of these. Replaced the cable though. It had to go. Thanfully i found a replacement from xinhs on a flash sale for 5 bucks. Worth it. Even came with a hard shell case. Couldnt have been more happy.
Does the standard chu 2 cable comes with a microphone? I hope not because it disrupts the listening when connecting both iem and guitar when using an audio interface.
There are 2 types of Chu 2 here in my country. The ones without mic that comes with the 3.5mm jack which is around 18USD , and the ones with USB-C, DSP and mic for 23USD.
just arrived, honestly, i'm having a blast. i had KZ ZSN Pros previously and bought the CHUs cause the pin on the KZ broke. as a first impression, it blew me out the water like the KZ did on the first time i heard them. The bass is a bit too simple, clippy and noisy, but the mids and highs could not be clearer.
@@vinuvarsidh9754 depends on what you want, the kzs are pretty good on the bass side, but not that good at highs, the chu2 is good at highs and don't pack much of a punch at bass. overall, I use the chu2 every day, and the kz is more of a back up, if I had to choose, moondrop it is
Hi I am considering buying Moondrop chu 2 . I like more bass ,so can you tell me if I should go for moondrop chu 2 or something else btw It will be my first iems
Agree with you... Using it for weeks now (The did break in at this point), They're really good for the price, nice low end but nothing special going on actually. I use it on with my PC (Sound blaster Z as the DAC) for movies and games n stuff. For music I prefer the 7hz Salnotes Zero over the CHU II, this ones special.
I'm new to IEM's I don't know really a lot about them but are they durable? For the price $19 and a chinese product I think they will not last long? I dunno thinkin about getting one
I'm probably a bit late. Blo3 sound way better, but they might not be for everyone's ears. My ears are a bit smaller than average ear would be and I had endless problems to fit them. The chassis always pressed against one of my ear bones and caused endless pain. But otherwise they sound amazing. I found that for me they outperform many over ear studio monitors under 200€.
@@sms8717 well , the sound from mobile device feels like it's low output... Sound stage is not wide... For gaming purpose it's 👍 good.... Fit is also good, bass is good but it would have been better in a wider sound stage, everything is quite balanced.... Feels good for ears... Build is good but when you fall it on hard surface, you will get small dents on metal body... Overall good to purchase but I will recommend to try out truthear hola / tangzu Warner / 7hz saltnots zero... Just try them... Nd then make ur purchase Tbh , Im not that much satisfied with these
I m very confused please help i m looking to buy my first iem for daily musix listening and confused between moon drop chu 2 and truthear hola which one should i get? I already use byerdynamics dt990 pro in my Studio just want something new for travel
They're just okayish in my opinion.. there's not much details, the bass is kinda muddy i was expecting a nice bass.. i mean even a sony c100 sounds better than this... Its just an overhyped iem.
I broke my chu after 4 months of using and now i have chuchu.
Chuchu for 'ya
Chu chu Yeahhhh
If u know
Hey, I've been using it for more than a year and a half. and now upgrading to chuchu😂
Yeah, chuchu train😂
How did it break? Was it because of the user or because of the IEMs themselves?

Great video PAR!
I love the chu 2. So comfortable in terms of size and sounds so good.
Except its weak BASS. 🙃
@@TheWorldTeacherWell, youre not exactly looking for bass if you're getting a chu 😂
@@TheWorldTeacherit's not for bassheads
The cable hook is great for me since I have small ear, and they're thin too, so some times I don't even feel them at all.
Yes, it's comfortable enough, just a bit tangly (nitpicking).😀
Likewise.
Finally, The Perfect Review Arrived.
From my experience I had moisture issues on the chu II in the first 5 days. The original chu lasted 2 weeks before I had to replace the filters
That's unfortunate. I haven't had trouble with any of mine but they were only a daily driver for a few days.
I've got the moisture issue on the left side as well today, I cannot order a filter right now so I am using cotton balls as a makeshift filter for now
Just got chu 2 and watching this video on it
Hi. Good review. Please, does the Chu II come with a microphone? I would like to know for Zoom and phone call use. Thanks.
No, it doesn't.
Love them both
Pls help pick between Chu II vs Final E3000 (whats better sonically)
Does the standard chu 2 cable comes with a microphone? I hope not because it disrupts the listening when connecting both iem and guitar when using an audio interface.
Yeah, I think the mic is standard on that one.
There are 2 types of Chu 2 here in my country. The ones without mic that comes with the 3.5mm jack which is around 18USD , and the ones with USB-C, DSP and mic for 23USD.
These meant to be ok for gaming. Is it possible to tweak things like footsteps for the ps5?
No. Isn't that the reason you buy these in the first place?
Thank you for the review.

Pretty amazing what you can get for $20 these days!
@@PrimeAudioReviews update, just booted them at work, apparently the bass was a song problem, on Akon the bass is cristal.
Which is better between kz zsn pro and chu 2?

Hi, i'm torn between Chu II and OG Chu. What are the biggest differences ? Thank you ✌🏻
Pretty sure I did a comparison in this video. :/
I just looked up the other IEM sitting on your table (TWIN PULSE BERYLLIUM)... $$$ but how do they sound?
Pretty amazing. Great bass depth/texture, loads of detail and clarity. The shells could be more comfortable.
Chu II or CCA CRA? In terms of v shape
CRA if you want brighter and super-detailed. Chu II if you want something a bit warmer and chilled.

@@TheWorldTeacherhahaha really? You don't think it has bass?
@@Ron.Sarker, it probably does but unfortunately, my ear holes are tiny. 😢
@@Ron.Sarker Wait. For listening to music do you think the Salnotes zero sounds better ?

I bought these last week. ❤
Great!

Metal shells and detachable cable so durability with these isn't an issue. Check out 7hz Zero 2 as well.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Can you send me a link I'm confused which one is it the Linsoul 7hz X Crinacle Zero 2 or the Saltnote 7 hertz Zero 2?
@stewwey4059 they are the same thing.
Moondrop chu 2 vs truthear hola
I want to know the answer to this
i’ll come back in a month I guess. I have Hola and I ordered Chu 2 today, so I will compare them.
They're pretty close but I'd say Chu II has the edge in dynamics and bass impact.
Chu 2 more dynamic and brighter
@@rafsnchzits been a month!! whats your opinion on chu 2?
Moondrop chu 2 vs Blon Bl_03
which one is better for crisp and clear music ?
Chu 2
Chu ll vs truthear x crinacle zero: red for gaming?
Red for footsteps, Chu ii for explosions and gunfire
Regarding your complain about the name, I mean they also do it with theBlessing, Blessing 2, and now Blessing 3. Are you complaining about that?
The blessing series 1,2,3 all have distinctly different designs so I doubt people would be confused about those.
@@PrimeAudioReviews To be fair, the face plate is different and it’s called Chu II.
which will be better for pubg chu 2 or zsn pro 2 ?
ZS10 Pro X!
Chu 2 or 7Hz Salnotes Zero
Soundwise you could flip a coin but I've heard stories about Chu 2 moisture and 1 side dying.
@@PrimeAudioReviews how about the fit and build quality?
can you test it on fps game? i mean can you hear footsteps clearly?
Yeah, it's ideal for footsteps.
@@PrimeAudioReviews ok i will try it soon, it is comfort for wearing long periods like 8 hours ?
i know its comparing apples to oranges but does has anyone compared them to airpods or galaxy buds?
Chu 2 sounds 5 times better than airpods or galaxy buds
Would you pick Chu 2 or blo3?
BL03 - technically inferior but emotive AF.

Truthear Cadenza, QoA Vesper 2, Simgot EM6L, 7Hz Legato.
7hz sonus
Penon Fan 2 on sale for half off regularly

Chu 2 vs aria?
Very similar sound signature. Aria has better detail retrieval and is a shade brighter.
