Love the Monkey Rap. When I was little and this game first came out, we'd always sing along to it before we would start playing. And before I was homeschooled, whenever I would get sick stay home from school I'd watch my dad play it. Was funny though, out of my dad, my sister and me, I was the only one to get 101%.

IT IS possible to exit Hideout Helm by using the Grenade Orange glitch, so you can bypass all closed doors, however, the timer is still running up even after exiting the level, until it reaches 0:00, no matter what cutscenes or levels you access, so it's a really unreliable method.
wellllllllllllll......for such a bad ass, awesome game, it kinda is-or, rather, there's ALOT of programming in it, so bound to be a fair amount of errors, anyway
+Jacky Wind because it was, with all due respect ignore jeesaf also as speedruns have various catagories so comparing "casual" run whatever he thinks that is and "speedruns" is just kinda silly as a casual run would just be... playing the game however you want without a specific goal or purpose or simply completing it however, speedruns are dependent on the type of speedrun and the rules set by that catagory. also the game really wasnt badly made, nintendo wanted too much content to start selling the game in nintendo power way before it came out and at the time rare where still getting all the basics for the game running well enough to use, the extra content is what pretty much ruined the gameplay. as erick said check out swordlessLink's LP of DK64 to see how bad it really was.

back in the day, I used a gameshark on my DK64 game on my 101% game file, and something corrupted it to where I die in one hit, no matter what it is-but only on that file O.o Just curious if anyone had ever heard of something like that before, since this is a great place for glitches :P
***** I don't know-I guess it's possible, but I doubt it-I do know that both the gameshark and DK64 used the memory expansion pack thingy, and that is probably not supposed to happen >.
ramiel555 What you described is exactly what happened to me as a kid! I was so upset, because I got far in that file, and was looking for a little "help." It ended up screwing me over big time.

Because they created them. How ever, they are still linked to the DK license, so Nintendo owns them.

I recently bought a n64 and im having trouble with whites they are really bright and on Mario cart 64 I cant see the road on the snow
change the settings on your television. Nothing is wrong with the N64
