A legend from around where I live in renfrew county is Buck hill. The legend says that a little girl went looking for her lost dog in the winter and never returned. The dad took a lantern and went searching for her but never found her. If you park your car on buck hill and either shout Daddy, daddy, daddy or flash your headlights 3 times your supposed to see floating balls of light and some people say that they have litten up the whole forest around them. I've also heard stories of people having the lights go out in their car or hearing the sounds of a little girl screaming. I've gone out there with friends before but haven't seen anything but definitely plan on going back.

Where I used to live in Northern Alberta Canada up by the NWT border my brother and I used to take care of a trail system. There was a location along the trails called Snake lake or Death Lake. There was an extremely odd feeling entering into the area and the indigenous peoples wouldn't enter as they believe it's cursed. They kept saying things about the "little dinosaur" and saying that there used to be a village there by the lake until the monsters came out of the lake and killed everyone in the village. When asked to describe these monsters they say that they look like giant frogs but they have long course black hair all over like a horses mane. They have webbed back feet and clawed front feet as well as wide frog like mouths full of sharp teeth. They will kill for fresh meat but prefer eating things already starting to rot. They do also eat vegetation. We used to hear these weird howls at night which would turn your blood to ice and I would always tell myself that the stories weren't true..... Until one day we found a body of one of these creatures. Never in my life would I believe that such a creature could even possibly be real but there it was. We took pictures as best we could but the creature had already started to decay but not a single other animal had fed off of it. We sent the pictures in to a couple of collages. The Calgary zoo, and the government and then a week later we got a visit from some government officials. They demanded to see the location to which we showed them and they thanked us before sending us away. My brother and I hid close by to watch what they did and in a way weren't surprised at all when they cleaned up the entire area, took the bones and anything else they could find before making it look like nothing had ever been there. I remember one of them saying to another that "things like this should never be known to the public and that's why it's our job to make sure no one knows that monsters live here too". To this day I can write to various places asking about that incident and I get told that I need to lay off the drugs, go bother someone else with my faerie tales, or that I'm insane. I will always remember that experience as long as I live.

I think a whole second video could be made about the ghosts in the Niagara Region (Captain Swayze, Drummond Hill Cemetery, the old forts). However, I'm just as happy to keep the Screaming Tunnel bricked up and on the down-low. If there really is the soul of a little girl who burned to death, I think the last thing she needs is people coming around and lighting matches, recalling her trauma for kicks.

so i like that the Québec werewolf was included, as i myself am french canadian and it is one of my favorite myth from home. you did, however, use imagery that did not fit whit the Québecois idea of the werewolf. although we do call it «loup-garou» witch translate to werewolf, the best is almost never seen has a wolf. it usually is described has a large black dog whit red eyes, the person loses all of there humain aspect when the turn accrus, so its never a humain-wolf hybride. it can walk on its back legs however, witch is creepy when you think about it. this is not the only form werewolfs take. horses, pigs, bulls and even birds!
an other stange thing : lycanthropie is not transferred by bite. for a person to become the beast, they must have not celebrated Easter for 7 years... or put on a pair of magical dancing boots made by the devil, but that was the one time. loved your video!

there was a legend i remember hearing... supposedly based on a true person and events... in quebec i think. anyways, there was this woman who kept poisoning her husbands, i think she had three of them before she was caught, and they charged her as a witch and her punishment was to hang out in one of those iron cages that are human shaped at this crossroads until she died. and its said if you go to this place you can hear her screams or see her as this skeletal figure in white.
i wish i could remember more, like her name, but i do remember being chilled to my bones when i first heard it.

In Texas we have a similar legend of the devil in white. It goes something like “if you see a woman dancing alone at the bar, approach her and ask for a dance. If you don’t or she says no to you and any other person willing to dance, she may be visited by a man in white. He’ll come in wearing a white cowboy hat, white jacket, white shirt, white pants, and white dancing boots. Be wary of this man, for he will approach her and she will not say no to him. Watch as he bedazzles her with charms, woos her with wits. Mind as he sweeps her off her feet in the dance. She may protest or try to leave, but it’s too late for her. She’s already entranced by this man. She will stay with him no matter what you try to do. Even as the night goes on and you notice that he’s slowly... changing... she will ignore your heeds. While she’s lost in his eyes, you’ll be lost in his hat, turning into horns. While she’s laying her head against his chest, you’ll see his jacket and shirt turned to reddish skin. While she’s happy in his embrace, you’ll be terrified at his pants and shoes turning into the legs and hooves of a goat. You’re silently worrying, wondering why no one else is freaking out. But no one has noticed, because no one has paid attention. She was damned to die once he came in, and you were damned to witness it once you cared. The Devil knows you know, for he shoots you a wink at closing time. Be wary of the lonely woman dancer at night, for you might be driven to insanity by the Man in White”
