Esse just signed a new contract extension. Booyah! We were poor vs Orient, but consider the new signings have barely trained & need time to gel with the squad. We need to get behind all the lads instead of deciding players are finished. A bigger squad will allow us to rotate better

i think harris role just to keep us up while blooding these youngests for a more modern style coach to come in next season and take team on a more Pep style game plan going forward
You mention a modern day coach taking over from Harris, but who will that be? When will that be? Do we know if there’s the next Kieran McKenna out there that wants to come to us and mould these new players of Harris/Gallen into a cohesive team? And when is that likely to happen? When Harris resigns/is sacked half way through the season, or does the new manager/coach come in next summer, regardless of whether we’re still in the Championship or have been relegated to League 1? Either way, if the new manager doesn’t fancy the Harris/Gallen signings will JB Jnr give him sufficient funds to bring in his own players and start the whole process again? Maybe if we’re still in the Championship (with the extra money we get from being in that league), but what happens if we’re playing next season in League 1? They’ll be less money from Sky, the sponsorships on offer will be of a lesser calibre (bringing in less revenue) and attendances will be lower, hurting the coffers of the club that way. Lose to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday by putting in another Orient style performance, and the knives will be out for Harris, and all the good will he banked by keeping us up last season will soon evaporate. I hope we win on Saturday, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Wednesday do a number on us and consign us to our third defeat in 4 league games, with only 1 point out of a possible 12 to show for our endeavours.
Ask yourselves a question does Harris piss players off and in the end they don’t want to put a shift in, Really I can’t blame them under Harris it’s a old mates game
Sticking a load of players together some of whom hasn't played together is not what fans have been asking for... Harris using this to say he is right now to give some of the players a start and not just 88th minute. Harris shouldn't be mocking players for knocking on his door either. It's tactics that's the problem IMO not the players
to get is into a relegation dogfight. he always prefers workrate over pace & ability. i don't think langstaff will score many or improve this year because he will not get the service from the midfield harris will play, that all strikers need to be effective.
