And finally, your last questions only make sense to those who don't have hope for eternity. What is so wrong with dying anyway? I long the day I'll be honoured enough to see the face of God, to be with him forever.
This is my opinion and my faith, this is what we belive. I hope I answered at least something of everything you asked. Also, sorry if my writing is not the best, english is not my first language.
    All the best to you.

It's the first time I'll answer a post on youtube,so maybe I'll regret it...but just maybe, I could share what my answers to those questions are and be helpful. :) God knows everything, yes, but the principle of freedom is key to understanding this. He made us free, and doesn't want to impose anything on us, so it is up to us to believe, or to go to him, or to ask him for whatever we need. Most of the time, we are not open te recieve anything, because we don't believe.

"Prayer is the test of everything; prayer is also the source of everything; prayer is the driving force of everything; prayer is also the director of everything. If prayer is right, everything is right. For prayer will not allow anything to go wrong."
    - St. Theophan the Recluse
"remember God more often that you breath".
    - St. Gregory of Nazianzus
"Pray as you can, not as you think you must."
    - Fr. Thomas Hopko (Third Maxim of the Christian Life, „Ascetics in the World)
"If you call God your Father, then trust and hope in Him, as a Father most merciful, all powerful, most wise, ever-loving, ever-perfect. Trust in Him respect the blessings of this temporal life, but above all in respect of future blessings which shall be granted you in Christ."
    - St. John of Kronstadt
"When you feel the touch of the Eternal Spirit in your heart . . love streams like a light on all creation. Though the physical heart feels this love, in kind it is spiritual . . . Yet only those who keep a clear conscience not only before God but towards their neighbor, towards animals--even towards the material things which are the product of men's labor--will care for all creation. . . For the Divine Spirit draws the heart to compassion for all creation."
    - Sophrony of Essex
”the very core of all Christian life: the conversion of the heart of man causing it to burn with the love for Christ which transforms one into a new being."
    - Fr. Seraphim Rose
"Stand guard, then, over your heart and keep watch on your senses; and if the remembrance of God dwells peaceably within you, you will catch the thieves when they try to deprive you of it. Those who recognize these evil thoughts for what they are remain undisturbed and continue in prayer to God."
    - St. Isiah the Solitary
" Christ is the capstone (Ephesians 2:20) uniting us with Himself. He is the pearl of great price (Matthew 13:46): when one plunges into the depths of stillness and it is this for which one sells all his own desires through obedience to the commandments, so that one may acquire it even in this life."
    - St. Gregory of Sinai

He lets everything happen, he gives humans total freedom, Most if not all the worlds problems are caused by humans not god, and I'd imagine if a god did exist it would want us to learn to love one another, this planet, and ourselves voluntarily.

I saw this amazing, amazing video called "breathe". It was explaining why we can't see God, it said that in Moses, when he asked God his name, he said Yahweh, well, that's the English version, in the Israelite version it is ya-ha-weh-heh which sounds like breathing (it'll make sence in a Minuit.) this meens "lord" and in Greek, lord meens spirite or wind. So put two and two together, ya-ha-we-heh sounds like breathing and in Greek it meens spirite? So God is all around, like wind, God-Allah bless all!

I lost my dad 18 months ago to cancer as well so I can understand how painful that is and sometimes I feel it doesn't get easier has time goes on but harder. My dad had a great strong faith even through the most difficult dark times. It was hard for us to watch him go through that as well but I can tell you that it would have been incredibly hard to do that without God's help. I'm not sure if you have tried praying but I would encourage you to do it but keep going even when you're not sure if it's helping. The Psalms can bring a lot of comfort in the Bible especially in the deepest darkest moments of human suffering or things that are difficult to understand. I do hope things can get better for you even though you miss your mum that hopefully some wonderful times are ahead for you.

Also, being born and accepting to die in the most torturing way is just the opposite of selfish and narcissistic.
He answers all prayer done in faith. The mistake here is thinking that we know best, and pretending an answer just like the one we wish for. God has three possible answers for things we ask: Yes, Later, or I have something better planned for you.
Just a little bit of real Faith is enough for great things...it's a pity we find it so hard to believe...

Why should I pray for other people? God knows how many hairs they have. Why should I pray for them?
    ----
When I was incarcerated then I did pray for myself & God eventually released me all 3 times.
Now I am waiting for God to take vengeance on my enemies.
    ----
I don't talk with my daughter because she told a dirty lie to the police & had me incarcerated.
My new 61 year old friend told me that she prays for me & twice my daughter has spoken to me. Her first request was for me to help her paint my wife's closet. I told my daughter that her boyfriend should help her. (Her boyfriend is lazy)
Her 2nd request was for me to help her fill up her nail polish bottles with water.
I have not done anything yet. She is 15 & I was planning on never speaking to my daughter again & never seeing her again as soon as my polite son turns 16 in 5 years because that's when I plan on leaving.
My son can come with or stay with my current wife that also told a dirty lie & had me incarcerated previous to my third incarceration.
I told "J" age 61 about what my daughter wants & she/J loaned me a tiny funnel for the nail polish bottles so I could fill them up.
    ----
Tonight I got home from playing soccer at the park & found my mattress on the street. I didn't call the police because my wife had given me sex earlier today. My wife was upset because I had not put my bed into the garage yet. The garage is full of junk & hot so I have not put my bed there yet.
I think my daughter talked my wife into throwing my bed out because my daughter wants her room back. My daughter loaned me her room 2 weeks ago because I started a new job, but I quit after 5 days & my daughter told me a week ago that she wants her room back.
I quit the job because my boss lied to me.
    ---
I want to pray for "J" because she has a health problem & she is very nice to me. She is currently in a wheelchair.
I ate dinner with her tonight. She gave me ice cream yesterday.
I know I'm supposed to pray for my enemies, but I'm not that nice. I do pray that God punish them for me.
But for J I want God to heal her. Why hasn't God healed her on his own? God created her.
Is it possible that God wants to heal her after I pray for J ?
    ----
My wife has arthritis & I told her that she had given it to herself for being angry & her yelling at me for 15 years.
Saul/Paul in the bible had to have someone pray for him to be able to see again.
I don't know why God wants it that way.
Well, I will now go to pray for "J."

      hey man,
talk to your pastor about these things, ask him for council.
It is sad to hear what`s happening in your family.
I watched some videos on your channel, it seems you have some mental illness, maybe schizophrenia and the "lies" others tell about you are true, but you cannot remember saying/acting like they say you did.
I wish you all the best buddy, love you :)

    • @danieltheteacher
      @danieltheteacher 8 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you, Patrick. Yes, the mental illness runs in my family, but I don't believe I have it. I get incarcerated when I go against my mother, wife, or daughter.
My mother was a secretary at Ada S. McKinley in Chicago. They worked with foster care. This is where she gets all her stories from so that she can tell them to the police & have me locked up.
She locks me up so that I will pretend to be mentally ill so that my wife & daughter will get "my" disability check.
I don't get a disability check. I did apply for it from the social security office because the lawyer my wife got for me told me that it would take 2 years to get approved. Instantly I said to myself: "Hmm, my mother & wife will leave me alone for 2 years. This is fantastic!"
2 years later I got denied by the judge my lawyer told me & so then I dismissed my lawyer. My lawyer was happy to drop my case because the judge is a very tough judge because he is legally blind & yet he still has a job.
This is when my mother, wife, & daughter came after me. Also my mother threw 2 or 3 knives at the floor near my feet and so I called the cops on her. She went to jail for 60 days or so and she lost 30 pounds.
After that she had me locked up.
Children get their college paid for if their dad is disabled. This is how my daughter got into this.
But 2 cops told me that my wife has to wait 7 years to tell the truth or she would get arrested if she tells the truth now.
This is why I make so many videos so people will see the truth.
My dad I saw him 5 times in my life. He was a selfish-narcissist & had 12 kids or so with different women. His dad died when he was 8 years old. He did talk to me about God once when I was 16.
My mother did pull off a mental disability check from the government. To me nothing is wrong with her except that she is lonely for a long time. The doctor wrote: " acute emotional depression," or something like that. I was about 17 when I read the paperwork.
Oh well, being a Christian is about doing the right thing even if your family is against you.
I don't go to church because there is one pretty girl there & I will stay away for 5 years. Then I will get divorced and go find my Proverbs 31 Wife:)
I'm learning to cut trees so I'll have plenty of money for my next wife.
(Both my first wife & my current 2nd wife were/are tyrants because I moved in to their apartment/house and they paid all the bills. For the 3rd wife it will be different because I will pay all the bills and she will move in with me or live in her own house)
Have you heard about the 2 apartment marriage?
I love this because then she won't move my tools which will be in the living room.
My current wife finally gave me the garage so that I would get the tools out of "her" livingroom.
Selfish-narcissistic women say: "The house is mine! The children are mine!"
My response to my 2nd wife /current wife was fine then you pay all the bills, but of course I didn't say this to her.
Just this week I started to be responsible for the Lowe's credit card bill because I need to buy the tools for my business of cutting trees. It has a $400 balance & I will pay it off in about 4 months or so God willing. She pays all the other bills.
I don't give her money because she is rude most of the time even when she drops me off at my customer's home so I can work. She loves to criticize me, but in response I will just teach her to cut trees.
She refused to read books with me so that she would learn English so I quit working 11 years ago and her coworkers taught her English for me since they did not speak Spanish.
Now I started working so that I can get away from her & go find my new Proverbs 31 Wife. Neither of us has the $500 to pay a lawyer to do some paperwork for our divorce.
But I work to buy tools so that I can become a carpenter. I believe carpentry will help me be a good provider for my next Proverbs 31 Wife & my future children, God willing.
God bless you and those that surround you.

      Daniel Caron hey,
i'm glad to hear, that you're trying to fix your life, but alone it is difficult.
I really want to encourage you to visit a church. "Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment."
      PRO 18:1 ESV
you can visit another church, if there is a problem with that woman.
Through the Internet i can't help you more, than saying "Go to church!"
In the spirit I'm with you and pray for you, my beloved friend.

    • @danieltheteacher
      @danieltheteacher 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yes, I did go to 2 other churches in the last 3 months, but I didn't like them enough to keep going there. You just gave me an idea.
What I would love to do is to start my own church. It would have 2 songs,1 reading of a parable, food, a soccer game, a carpentry class like for building a bookshelf, & then the members would go rake the leaves for somebody. Also people would be done & could leave in about 1/2 an hour unless they stay for the food, soccer, etc.
My church would be active and not boring.
What stops me is that my wife doesn't like my friends to come over here to "her" house.
I'm starting to earn money so soon I'll have enough money to rent space from a church.
      Thank you, my friend.

Is this video a joke? Is it just an atheist having a laugh?, Well if it isn't all i have to say is Two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in pray, Does anyone really think praying to one of the thousands of different gods is better than trying to fix some of the problems we face as a species?, I mean what do you think is more likely to help, building schools and vertical farms to educate and feed people or praying that people get food and a decent education?

Just out of interest who do you think does a lot of that good work? A huge amount of those good causes are set up by Christians following the response and instruction of Jesus. We don't pray to many gods we only pray to the Father in Jesus. I would beg to differ as well I think one pair of hands clasped in prayer could change the world in one second.

@@GABRIELADAWSON Sorry to hear that you feel that way. You obviously seem to be very interested in justice which is a good cause. "Jesus said.. ask anything in my name, and it will be done"
    LOL.
Does anyone out there have the courage of their convictions to put this to a reasonably simple test? At the risk of a small consideration of course. Shall we start negotiations at say £100? 25+ years and fruitless asking says I think not. I pray every day that someone will, but to no avail. Perhaps I'm not doing it properly.

Why the fact that you've put lol shows that you don't really have a heart of faith towards God. I could understand prayers not being answered in that context you need to get yourself into the Bible and understand Jesus teachings a bit more perhaps.
I'm not sure a wager is a very righteous thing to do in this context. I've seen several prayers answered that would absolutely blow anyone's mind. I'm sure that many people here have had the same experience despite the negative comments from those who speak up more loudly sometimes than those who had the positive ones if that makes sense.
If we ask with wrong intention as well then we do not get answered. It has to be something that is God's will and the only way to know is to pray but with reverence and respect.

Science has done nothing to harm anyone, it's the people that use the inventions. Science doesn't have a doctrine telling scientists to kill or hate others. Religions do (not all but a lot).
That's basically what my point is. By the way, I'm only an arsehole when people overwhelm me with their stupidity.
I don't have to demonise religion, it does a perfectly good job on its own.

And what I those prayers don't come true? Is that just God's plan? If so, why pray? God isn't going to change his plan to fit a single person's wants. As the Amazing Atheist says " if you get struck by lightning, then you would have been fine if you would have stood 2 feet to the left."

The less selfish you are in prayer, the more God will listen. But since you do not refer to God as your heavenly father and Abba, he obviously sees your true intentions. If I were you I'd fully respect and have faith in your heavenly father before it's too late. Jesus Christ truly just wants you to accept his love, since you refuse, he obviously will not approve of your prayers. 😞

God always answers the prayer with one of three answers:
      1. Yes
      2. Not yet
      3. I have something better for you in My mind
So if you think your prayers are not getting answered, you are praying in a wrong way - start praying for God's will in your life with all of your heart and you will start seeing miracles happening in your life.
Believe me, am talking from my personal experience.
Surrendering my life to Christ has been by far the best decision I have ever made or ever will make.

From your comments I'm guessing that you are dealing with stuff that is very difficult on a daily basis and in that suffering it is very difficult to understand why things happen. I myself have been through a huge amount of prolonged suffering as people who know me know. I've also watched a loved one go through great suffering but also with great faith. We can't always know the reason for that suffering. I do believe that everything has a reason as painful as it can be we don't see the other side of it. For example if someone passes away we see their pain here which is terrible but if they are going to a better place which I believe they do when they believe in Jesus it certainly comforts me that there is somewhere better than this life. This life is truly important but it is not the be all and end all and without faith we can see it as such. As a Christian, the difference is I know I don't walk it alone.

Do not worry, I am not an asshole :P.. It says that if you believe, then you will receive what you pray for. That doesn't say what God believes is best, but what we pray for. People prayed for OK, why did that happen?
I am atheist, obviously I am sure, but I was raised in a christian home, my dad is striving to be a preacher, but I cannot bring myself to believe in a omnipotent being who lets so many bad things happen to bad people. There are many reasons, but that is a high up there one.

The Bible does say elsewhere that when we pray it still has to be in God's will and in my experience he often answers in unexpected ways but He still answers.
Having been through a great many troubles myself for a prolonged period of time I at times have asked God what that's about but I haven't lost faith in God. Suffering exists whether we like it or not but I'd certainly rather walk through that with God.

Why pray when God knows everything we think and everything that we need?
If he is omnipotent he should know all of this. Seems selfish and narcissistic if you ask me.
Why doesn't God answer all prayers?
As long as we have faith or believe in God then they should all come true right?
Matthew 21:22 "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Why do christ followers die from curable diseases? Does God not see them fit to live? Is their time up?

    • @rachelcharris
      @rachelcharris ปีที่แล้ว

The Bible also teaches that he only answers what is his will which is fair enough. We all have an appointed time to die which is an ecclesiastes. It doesn't matter if the disease is curable or not. If we're thinking about a bigger picture which is eternal then this life is short anyway and what's beyond it is infinitely more important but the life that we live here is infinitely important and shapes how we will spend our eternity. You need to read the Bible a lot as it has a lot of correlation in different areas to different texts and many different layers. It's actually a very mathematical book as well for the science nerds out there.
