@@gokusslave Hi there, yes we often sin probably every day so it is good for us to admit to God we have sinned, feel sorry for it, ask for forgiveness, and strive to not commit the sin again. Because Jesus paid for our sins we can be totally cleansed as we repent. It seems to me that God already knows what is in our hearts. We pray to remind ourselves to follow the will of God as outlined in the Bible. A prayer therefore is an acknowledgement to ourselves that God is central in our lives. By praying we regularly remind ourselves of that fact. Regular prayer helps us to conduct ourselves in accordance with God's will. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge and feel the love of God in our blessings as well as order our needs and find strength in God to meet those challenges. I trust that whatever happens in my life, regardless of whether it is good or bad is a necessary experience I need to complete in my life's journey here. The bad things teach me humility so that when the good things happen I appreciate them and experience them with modesty and gratitude. Prayer is for us, to strengthen our faith and keep us on a righteous path. Just the thoughts of another struggling sinner. Take it or leave it.

Remember you don't have to just pray with them, BUT you can pray anytime anywhere. Don't worry about what they think about your prayer. God knows our hearts, just imagine they are not in the same room as you and imagine Jesus is sitting next to you and you are talking to Him. ❤

Hi, yes you are right! I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and you are very correct. Take a read at this scripture from the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ: Alma Chapter 38: 11 See that ye are not lifted up unto pride; yea, see that ye do not boast in your own wisdom, nor of your much strength. 12 Use boldness, but not overbearance; and also see that ye bridle all your passions, that ye may be filled with love; see that ye refrain from idleness.13 Do not pray as the Zoramites do, for ye have seen that they pray to be heard of men, and to be praised for their wisdom. 14 Do not say: O God, I thank thee that we are better than our brethren; but rather say: O Lord, forgive my unworthiness, and remember my brethren in mercy-yea, acknowledge your unworthiness before God at all times.

I hope I found my answers of knowing I’m praying right to my savior 😞💓 I don’t want to feel like my whole life of talking was ignored & looking like I was talking to myself. No prayer is wasted. Jesus is perfectly aligned with His Father and of course He hears your prayers too! God is so forgiving, as soon as we turn to him, his power surrounds us and gives us added strength. Keep up the great work!
Sir/Madam, can you tell me who this (God) Father that your talking about is that we have to pray to. And what is His Name? Cause we are told in the second sentence of the lords prayer to keep his name holy. SO WHAT IS HIS NAME? For what I know Father & God are titles. If we his creation have names then how can the Father the creator not have or create a name for himself. How can I address Him if I don't even know His name. For me prayer is like posting a letter to someone. How can you post to or address a person if you don't know his name (let alone knowing his address). So all this explation is useless without knowing the person's name. If your telling me to pray to someone then I need to know who he is. Now if you say the name is Jesus then it is wrong. Cause Jesus himself said to pray to the father. And if you say God is the father then we know Satan is the God of this world. So we made Satan our father that we pray to. Hence I ask this important question before any explanation given, that is what is this fathers name? Who am I really talking or praying to? Please tell me this first. Father/God could be the devil too. How do I identify? No one is telling what this persons name is??????? Hope you get my point.
TRUTH RULES God knows who you are intending to speak too, he knows everything! If you feel called to address Him by name thats okay, he has names such as YAHWAY, Yeshua, Elohim. But calling him God, or Lord, or even just talking to him without any names or titles is valid. He knows your intentions, always. God bless!
God has many titles but one of the names we know him by is Elohim the father of Jehovah (Jesus)

Great video, but Mormonism is false. In fact, I was looking for a good children's video on the subject, but I won't put this in my Christian Kids playlist, and I won't show this to my children because of the Mormonism reference. The Bible clearly says there is only one triune God (Isaiah 37:20) -- you can not ever become a god, which is what Mormonism teaches. The Bible also teaches that Jesus Christ (Yahshua Ha'Mashiach) is the Word, which was both God and with God from the very beginning (read John ch.1); he is NOT Lucifer's brother and a created being, which is also what Mormonism teaches.
The core message of the Gospel is justification by grace through faith alone, not of works, lest any should boast (Ephesians 2:8); while good works should be natural result of being born again, our works do not in any way earn salvation, it is a gift. However, Mormonism teaches that works are necessary for salvation. Lastly, Joseph Smith falsely prophesied about Jesus' second coming -- a big no-no. When God spoke to the prophet Jeremiah, He said that if someone falsely prophesies in His name ONCE, they are a false prophet and should be put to death.
The Jesus of Mormonism is not the Jesus of the Bible and can't save you. Please repent of these false teachings and be saved by the true Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God the Father! The gate is narrow and there are few who find it.

As a new Christian and looking at this now, my prayers wasn't nearly as sufficient as this but somehow in a room with the cold air blowing through my window, I prayed that I would need help to sort my own problems and as I finished, I suddenly felt warmer.

This is exactly how I was taught my whole life to pray by the mormon church and how I taught my children to pray. Are you mormon? LDS? We left the Mormon church 2 years ago and have found freedom to pray in anyway we feel led. No longer do we adhere to this scripted format that keeps me from genuine relationship with God.
I think it is great how you feel freedom in prayer- there really is no set "formula". Christ gives us a nice example in the Lord's prayer and invites us to pray "after this manner" . Ultimately, as we realize our child/parent relationship with God we will feel much nearer to him and our prayers will flow organically and free. Thank you for sharing

It shows that while you live here in a first world country feeling greatful for all god has done for you that there are dying kids in africa who "god" does absolutely nothing for. Its not god I hate its the fact that people worship something and giving credit to something that clearly isnt there.

100%. Likely the most important thing we should do on a daily basis. Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to God. As we pray we should ask for mercy and forgiveness and strength to do God's will. Thank you, repentance cannot be overstated. yes, because u r speaking with God and he knows all languages but from my understanding, speaks to u in a way that only u would understand. So praise TMH in any language u choose, and as a reminder that we serve TMH, not the other way around. So just because we ask for something, doesn't mean we'll get it.
TMH is like a father that does not always spoil his children, because spoiled children usually lack what regular ppl have. they lack Honor, selflessness, they boast and r prideful.. etc

Jesus is the Truth. The only way to Heaven, to the Father. There is no more way, He is the only Way. And i want to tell you that your religion cannot saved you, only Jesus, only the finished work of Jesus Christ in the cross can only saved you, He died for you, so you may receive eternal life by putting your whole trust in Him or faith in Him, surrendering your life to Him. I hope you seek Him. He's the truth and He can set you free man! That's the best gift you will ever receive, to receive Jesus Christ. Please do not hardened your heart to Him, open your heart to the one who really saves
