    I went all Mathews 29.5 lift back in January. I have no regrets. The only thing I'm now needing to get used to is the study load before the back wall. It's not gradual it is steady!

      Yeah it has been weird changing but I think I’m getting used to it now!

    I love my Phase 4 but after shooting the Lift had to have it. Love the Lift so much I will be taking it to TAC in OK. Pure shooter for sure.

      Agreed 100% on being a shooter! Good luck at TAC!

    I have been lucky enough to buy a new Mathews flagship bow every year since the No Cam. I can say this Bow (Lift 29.5) is my favorite bow. I know people complain about the price of the accessories. You don’t have to buy them.. I ended up getting all of the bridge lock stuff and it is one of the coolest concepts that a bow has. It’s a true run and gun truck bow. I can throw my bow in my front seat slide the stabilizers in and it fits perfect. Some of this will never matter to a guy. But if you’re truly looking for a mobile hunting bow that you can do everything with this is it.

      I know people will complain about the price of the accessories or say these bows are overrated, but I truly appreciate the effort to make changes and innovate (whether it ends up sticking or not). I'm actually a big fan of the stabilizer as it is super quick and easy to adjust or remove!

      Yeah man it's the only industry that does this. What a bar to have to live by. New product every year. I can't imagine that stress

      How are you liking it?? Sometimes I miss having a shorter bow lol

    Looks like a phenomenal bow. My v3x is less than two years old so I just can't justify upgrading yet and I really like the v3x but definitely in the next couple years. Where are you in AZ? I grew up in Scottsdale then ten years in Tucson.

    • @MasterTheHunt23
      @MasterTheHunt23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah if I was already shooting a newer Mathews, I probably wouldn’t have upgraded (and don’t intend to again for quite awhile). I’m down in Safford!

      Coming from someone that went from a v3x to a lift. I have both and don’t know that I will sell my v3x. But the lift is a completely different animal. The draw is smoother and by smoother I mean steady pull from start to finish feel. Not a swooping curve like he said. The back wall makes the v3x feel sluggish on the back end. The weight is definitely noticeable but I like a heavier bow. V3x wins there but as mentioned you can add weight where you want it on these things. To me the bow balances slightly better than my v3x but that can be preference or grip type. But my absolute favorite part of the lift is that the release is much snappier feeling. I went from 70 to 80lb mods which I’ve just test shot the bow haven’t gotten to get out and send a lot through it yet. I just now got my custom bow but I’m more than excited to finally have it in my hands.

    That’s Mathews MO…small changes to an existing platform ie. Triax/Vertix/VXR/V3/V3x/Phase4 - then boom 2024 LIFT. If you like the LIFT 33, shoot a PSE Mach 34 EC2 cam…

  • @TheNewBowunter

    What would you say is a good starter bow? Sorry since that's off topic

    • @MasterTheHunt23
      @MasterTheHunt23  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would look at anything with plenty of adjustability (especially that you can do yourself) and an affordable price point. I always suggest things like the Bear Cruzer or PSE Stinger for those just starting out and learning unless they want to spend a little more for a step up!

    Traded that exact bow for a PSE Mach 34. I guess I don't get the Lift hype? Not a lot of good things to brag about. For me anyway.

    • @MasterTheHunt23
      @MasterTheHunt23  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Loved that bow, but really wanted to try something new this year and it was a fair amount cheaper. I’ll never knock PSE though, they’ve always been good to me and I know I’ll eventually be back!

    Can you adjust the stabilizer in the bridge lock without a wrench?

    • @MasterTheHunt23
      @MasterTheHunt23  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep! It’s just a simple twist lock that makes it quick and easy to take it on/off or adjust the length
