    Well now you make me want to build a NASCAR. I haven't built one in many years. I have an old Richard Petty car I might build as my next project. Thank you for the build videos! I think that I will buy the Master air brush. I have never used a dual action. Always have used my Pasche single action. I think I would benefit from the spray pattern of that kind of airbrush. Great looking model and once again, thank you for your time. Always looked for your videos first thing in the morning.

    • @ClayKemp
      @ClayKemp  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you will like using a dual action airbrush Mike. It gives you so many more options on how to paint things. They really are a nice tool to have.

    Clay, I'm glad to see you on YT. I have a couple of the books the Scale Auto Magazine sold of your old articles and learned a lot but it is so much better seeing you on video. The video quality is great. I found DT's channel a while ago and his is great as well. You two are my favorite modelers. But I like that you don't talk on yours because everything moves faster.. it's perfect the way you edited the videos. Looking forward to more! I've learned so much from all the videos. I stayed up half the night last night watching them after I found your channel.

    Pretty much box stock with a few added goodies and clean assembly. Well done Sir Kemp. Perhaps you'll do one of your famous super detail builds at some point? I know that will take many segments. At some point I'm going to start doing detailed builds here of drag cars, but the camera situation will need to be improved. And I'm moving soon. But I will have my own hobby room so that is exciting. Always fun to watch brother.

    Beautiful build ,Clay I always enjoy your work. Question, why do you not clear coat after you put on the sponsor and number decals so it looks more like a wrap? Also, do you clearcoat your decals while they are on the sheet before you cut them out and apply them? Thanks.

    • @ClayKemp
      @ClayKemp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I typically don't like to clear over decals. Especially high quality ones like these. But I wanted the red graphics to look like they were the same sheen as the yellow. So I just cleared over that part, and decaled the rest over the clear.

    Can you tell me the size of the braided lines and pluming that you use on the motors and through out on your builds? I have been building models
    off and on for years but not to the caliber you are and I would like to try my hand at building one extreme, and I have a hard time on sizes of the lines, etc brake lines, oil lines etc.
    Can you put up some videos of you building a motor or brake lines, what I really would like to see is a NASCAR model build from start to finish. Oh can you tell me where you get a lot of your
    photo etched parts.

    Looks great Clay! I will use your method of making the front splitter in the future. I also appreciate how to tuck the tires in, I've struggled with that on my builds. Would you mind telling us how you filmed this? Where is the camera, it's such a good angle but it looks like it would be right where your head is haha.

    • @ClayKemp
      @ClayKemp  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1
