- It’s already starting to feel like spring here in portugal. With the warmer weather we decided to take a trip up in the Serra da Estrela, as well as preparing our homestead for a busy spring.

Should have dropped in for a coffee as am just over the other side of the mountain and was 72 here today. Don't make the classic mistake of fixing the house first like a lot do. Sort the garden first as the food can be growing while you are house repairing. Brambles can be sprayed of with a round up cooking oil mix 50/50 as it makes it stick too the leaves, then you can dig up what is left.. Veg needs to be sown very early as in summer is too hot, but you can grow 2 crops a year by sowing again late August early Sept just in time for the Autumn rain.. Have fun.
💕I understand about being emotionally ready for a new dog. We lost both of our senior Pomeranian rescues 9 months apart not too long ago. We miss them terribly, but the thought of a new dog brings up too many emotions for us at this time.
Awww I’m so sorry to here that. We love a good pommie 😢 I will say seeing the shelter did make me want one again as there as so many dogs here that need help. I think we just need to find the right dog for us and Ellah. She keeps trying to play with us and the cats but we just are not fast enough 😅

Charlotte I just looked up info about kiwi fruit. Ordinary kiwi fruit has fructan that you might be reacting to, but Zespri kiwi fruit doesn’t so you might be able to tolerate them better.
I really enjoyed the whole video especially the walk and seeing the result of all the strimming revealing the terrace. 👍🏻
Yh it’s quite a common allergy apparently. I have noticed with golden kiwi I don’t get as much of a reaction though it’s really hard to find. I get it a little with pineapple as well (though not as bad). Annoyingly they are my two favourite fruits haha I do often just eat them and deal with the itchy face later 😂
