handong has been stuck in china due to covid19 so she hasn't been in any of their 2020 releases. she went to china in late 2019 to do a tv show. travel restrictions have been lifted so she could be back soon.

Something curious about Handong is she's absent in Dreamcatcher, is in China due to problems with her passport. So in this era of "Scream" (Dystopia II) in the MV and the dance someone with a mask substitutes his position.
What passport problems? She's just can't fly out of China due to international ban, more so bcoz she is from Wuhan (where it all started).

So she's been trying to get her visa renewed, which is mired in red tape because, as you say, they've been particularly strict on Hubei province for obvious reasons. But with the restrictions just lifted, there are signs that she'll be back with the girls soon...

"Holy shit" is right. Siyeon is one of the best in the business, hands down. Not only is she incredible right across every range, but her musical ear is uncanny. She also does a majority of the harmony vocals, and she knows exactly what works best to perfectly enhance whatever the other members are doing, and add a beautiful punch to the performance.
"Is that her natural eye colour?" No, those would be contacts; she has brown eyes, as I'm pretty sure they all do.
The vid says Cherry is the most famous pet in the fandom, but frankly, Yoohyeon's puppy Pie (short for Sapphire) has taken the spot, because she's with the girls so often. "You're good, girl!" Her English is really good; I met them at a fansign last year, and we could have a conversation in English pretty easily. What surprised me was how good Dami also was; she doesn't really show it off a lot of the time, but she can hold a conversation too.

11:40 anytime you see SI in korean it's pronounced SHEE. Her name is shee-yon. Korean romanisation is weird
Actually it is make sense. I is the only vowel that you can't add line/stroke to make it yi or Shi while other vowel can. For example, 아 = a if you add a stroke it become 야 = ya. So when s + i it automatically become Shi.
@@splifeort7281 yes for someone that knows hangeul it makes sense but romanisation isn't for someone that that can read hangeul.
Korean romanization works pretty much flawless. It's just the English language that pronounces things weirdly so you can't use the English way of pronouncing things when reading romanized Hangeul. If you read it more naturally and phonetically, it works great. Most languages in the world pronounces things phonetically. English is an exception so I think you'll find that English romanization is the language that is weird, not Korean :)
@@Tanax13 I don't know if English is an exception, but SI is not pronounced as SHEE in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Danish and German. For non European countries, I think Chinese and Arabic would differentiate SI and SHI (=SHEE)

E.g. when describing how SI in Korean is pronounced, you should say SHI opposed to English who would describe it as being pronounced as "SHE" or "SHEE" as you pointed out. SHE/SHEE is not phonetic at all :)
Jiu is my bias too. She's so gorgeous and her voice is so nice. Her personality is adorable as well.
guide is wrong on red sun choreo, it was choreographed by sua alone. dreamcatcher as a lot of english covers, copycat is one of them. they release 'special clips' which are lower budget b-side videos and covers.

(If you do react to it, I personally think that you should react to some of their songs first so you can kind of get the entire 'experience', but if you don't then that's perfectly fine)

Handong went back to China for the idol show Youth With You where Lisa from Blackpink was a mentor lol Lisa and Handong have a conversation where Lisa asks her if they have met before, but Handong had met some of the other members from BP
Handong participated in a competition show in China earlier this year (during which she was tragically overlooked and underappreciated!) and ended up stuck there because of the pandemic and travel restrictions, otherwise she would have been back for Boca.

The show where Dreamcatcher and EVERGLOW were together was Idol Room episode 70. It’s definitely worth a watch if you haven’t seen it. It was the first show I ever saw with Dreamcatcher and I fell in love with them while watching it. 🥰 it’ll definitely bring you some laughs too.

Yes, ever since their Scream promotions, Handong has not been present. Handong was not included in Scream and the album due to her participating in a Chinese reality show, Youth With You (where Lisa from black pink was actually a judge and dance teacher). If you noticed in Scream music video and dance practice you do see 7 members but Handong is replaced with a dancer wearing a mask, to still include her but in the end it looks as though they made it part of the concept of haters and mean people speaking horribly and making hate comments but able to hide behind a mask (which they then carried on to this song as a part 2 where we see the mask with words you couldn’t read on the floor in the rain) I believe she is still not back due to COVID-19 as she was already in China for the show when shit hit the fan for the world lol. That’s from my understanding as to why she isn’t back I believe, but someone please correct me if I’m wrong lol. I just figured they are trying to keep her safe as to not traveling (or maybe travel restrictions I am not sure lol) but I’m sure she would’ve been included in BOCA if coronavirus was not a thing. Again I’m not 100% sure but I know she was not included in Scream and the album due to her going to China to be on the reality show. She has uploaded videos tho to the Dreamcatcher channel talking and reacting to the rest of the groups song and showing her support. WE MISS YOU HANDONG CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO RETURN!
