- Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing with you a Peacock Pearl Pour & Dutch Pour & Texture piece all in one! This is a great opportunity to show you how when you're not happy with a piece how you can pivot and change it to something you are happy with. I hope you enjoy. All recipes are below!

Materials I used in this demonstration:
18"X24" Deep Edge Level 3 Artist Loft Canvas
Modern Masters: Champagne & Pearl White
Tri-Art Liquid: Manganese Blue, Payne's Grey
Amsterdam: Sky Blue Light
Blickrylic White
NEW COLOR PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
2 Parts Behr 7300 Satin Enamel - untinted
1-2 Parts paint of choice (or .5 part fliuid paint)
1.5 Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss or GAC 800
Pouring Medium for PUDDLE/POUR OVER/DUTCH POUR paints:
50% Floetrol 50% Golden GAC 800
Puddle & Dutch Pour Paints mixed 1 pt paint to 4-5 pts PM and water to consistency (This is the ratio for highly pigmented paints like Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, etc)
No silicone used for cells. It was all the layering of the paints that made those cool effects.

Thanks Patty! I struggled with covering that pearl pour cause I loved it so much and then made the mistake of messing with it with that dumb Dutch pour🤦🏻♀️… but honestly I’m glad because I probably never would have gone in this direction so it became a happy accident! ❤️☺️🙏🏻

Tara this is amazing - I love this - I think it is my favorite of all time- I have been dong a lot of texture, trying different mediums and this is just so so creative, the color palette is just gorgeous. I think what I love about this is that it looks like it "goes" together and so much of my texture just looks there LOL if that makes sense - this is stunning - I miss you dearie - xxoo

I can not tell you how many times I've been in this position, Tara. More often than not, would probably be spot on for me😏. First off...How do you wait that long?! If I don't see the "good pearls" popping up right away, I'm already thinking of what I can do to "fix" it. 😁 I guess patience is a skill I need to work on. Whatever stress you had to go through to get to this final gorgeous piece was worth it! I know it's easy for me to say... but it's still true. BTW, I really like to shape of your pallet knife texture! Very unique and awesome piece, Tara!😊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Thanks so much Tera. I know it’s hard to wait for pearls but that is the beauty of a pearl pour. It goes through an ugly stage…my advice is to set a timer for 30-40 minutes and then leave the room. Whatever adjustments need to be made can be done at that time OR if it’s terrible you can just scrape it! No harm no foul! ❤️❤️❤️
