Been there last few years ago, all the facilities were full of people. The pools were just filled with a lot of kids, the lifts were the nightmare, waited more than 10 minutes. The mall was somewhat quite less happening but there are some western restaurant, bistro, fast food and fortunately there is a ocean theme park in the mall.
'Luckily' the mall is not doing well, hence it has not caused any disturbance to the residents. I agree with Sean that the entire building and surrounding show signs of aging. After so many years there are still unsold units from the developer 🤐
the parking area is really confusing, several times I have seen hotel guests getting lost on which lift to use, because there's the car park lift, the hotel lift, the residence lift, the mall lift, the lift that goes to the top floor 😅
Well done, Sean. Def cool gym but honestly who would want to buy here and then mingle with publc/weekenders and such? No! Kitchen layout in that unit is horrible. And rooms felt cramped.
I can't understand why they don't planning to open a supermarket inside of the mall. This mix development have much potential to be great place for shopping.Even a department store called "TANGS" cancel to cooperate with the manager of this mall.
one qestion related to the raising numbers of condos in MY but also seeing projects as forest city. How is it in Melaka and Penang - are the condos there also mainly empty, coz the demand is not that high as the offers? Or are they quite "full"/ occupied?
The mall has kinda abandoning feeling to it when i visited it last year and still is. I think it would do really well if international brands for food open up since so many expats come in Malacca and can have those options to eat in between all local options.
@@iherngNot really. The mall is already in a very bad shape before covid19 happened. I believe the main reason is because of its location, parking lot design including the lift access to the parking lot and the lack of family friendly tenants at the mall. Locals don't find it worth their time and money at all.
This is amazing. There are so many tourists in Melacca, What a nice change from Covid times. Glad to see everything coming back to life. Love from Bangalore!! Be safe out there. New fan from Bangalore
@@iherng looking at reviews, looks like its going to be a big gamble to buy a unit here. when you show us the floor plan, i noticed the issue too, too few lifts to cater all the units. furthermore, success or failure of a project like this always depends on the management. by the looks of it though, its not being managed well.
I disagree. Mixed development definitely has it's perk. Just that this was affected by the pandemic. This model works really well in city centres where spaces are limited. But anyway, thanks for watching!!

That just sound like a great Airbnb business for the owners hahahaha. That's why it's not as advisable for long term stay. Thanks for sharing;)
OMG. You did Chinese subtitles already. Thanks for the hard work & extra hours
Yea. I'm still trying out the effort versus results. It definitely take way longer.
Hope u can review more of malacca properties like admiral residence, parkland residence, Shang height residence 😊

There are bumi released units, means it was previously owned and managed by the developer.

Yea. I realised that when I was there too. But it's only for the first or 2nd time then it'll get better.
Thanks for sharing Jay;)

All the land reclaimation is so dumb . Shouldnt have done that at all. Keep the sea as sea.. dont reclaim it
Hi Sean, can you make a video of RC Residences?

Inside got Starbucks lol still dead
We are often limited to our understanding of the world only. Youngsters now are just awesome!!
The whole mall is pretty dead now sadly.. only some restaurant n the oceanarium. They don’t even have turtles in it anymore.
I guess that applies to all commercial areas within the state. Even Jonker street was heavily affected.

Foreigner can buy?
Yupe;) Do reach out to the team for more info yea:)
Its kp, every square inch of land matters. Small road, no apron, no problem.
Hahahahahahaha!!
talk about a badly designed project. Hotel pun nak, residence pun nak, mall pun nak jugak. Local councils should not have approved such projects.

True. While the concept is good, it doesn't work in city like Malacca. Especially when it was totally marketed for investors. Including the residence.
