      Nah, I am selling mine. Trying to get rid of it for months for 700 Euro but nobody is interested. And it's modded to get rid of that awful amount of hiss on the OD channels..Marshall is not so popular around here in Belgium anymore or should I say tube amps in general are not that popular...Btw, this is a well recorded video and I must say the amp sounds good here, but I'm sure you could make a Marshall MS2 sound decent in a studio.

    These are my favourite amp demo’s on TH-cam. Great to see so many different settings, guitars and styles of music played so you really get an idea of what it can do, as opposed to most demos that simply focus on a few blues licks or something. Great stuff! Keep them coming!

    good ole JVM, I got in on these right out of the gate. You did a great job showing the versatility of the amp. To me the crunch and clean channels are the two best channels......the OD1 on green and OD2 on green are also very usable......but you showed the secret to being able to use the OD channels on orange or red, keep the gain below noon on the dial......taking it up past that just takes the tone into places that to me are not overly usable. thanks for posting!

    I used to own the JMP1 pseudo tube preamp (which has diodes to produce crunch and high gain distortion). And none of its sounds comes even close to this JVM410H. The only thing I am missing about the 410 head is a smaller sibling like with the smaller model 205 which is based on the 210, but with a smaller power section and accordingly less weight (and a smaller price tag to boot).

    Also idk should I add that this demo is fckn awesome? I mean thats evident lol but here's your well deserved, but scanty pay for the hard work: Great review, loved it! I've said before but its extremely rare to see demos that are so well made and put together!

As good as the JVM is, these mods take it over the top. The only one I didn't care for was the JCM800 OD1 mod. Thank you for your always happy sound. I finally found the sound I had imagined. I don't like music and I'm not doing anything. How can I make this sound? I want to resume music again. Thank you.

      I agree, I just don't understand why anyone wouldn't love this amp.I'm admittedly a Marshall guy, but come on....I had a JCM800 I regret parting with & still have a late 70s 50 watt JMP head but this thing simply smokes any other amp I've ever owned.And the "too complicated/too many knobs" crowd just make me laugh.....really? Couldn't be simpler: 4 channels set up like a single channel amp.I think most people just look at all the knobs & get put off, but it's dead simple really. I can get anything from vintage rock/blues up to the most raging thrash/death metal & it does it with aplomb.Turn the volume up a bit people, play through a classic Marshall 4x12 1960 cab with Vintage 30s....& speaking of vol., the 2 Master Volumes really do this amp justice.....I A/B'd it with a 5150, a Dual Rec & a EVH 5153....hands down the Marshall smoked 'em all.....so I bought it

      @@Stitsel I agree. I had the 5153 and I sold it after buy the JVM. As you said, JVM is a very simple amp to manage and everyone will find your sound quickly. The 2 master volumes are perfect, you can have one for the riff sounds and another one for the lead sound. Probably I will never sell this amp. Another amp that is great is the Peavy 6505+, this amp is so f.... amazing.

    LOVE THE VIDEO! I just got the JVM 410H few days ago. I love it. The only thing I can't figure out are optimal FX loop settings. My reverb, chorus and delay sounds very quiet. How would you recommend setting it up?

    This thing sounds great! Do you prefer this over your DSL? I found the best channels on the JVM were clean and OD1 orange, I did also find when I played one quite a lot, that it was a little compressed, not open enough, and do you think it’s slightly dark compared to other Marshall’s? Sounds unbelievable recorded though!

      I do prefer it over my DSL's. This is just a more modern sounding amp. Great for chunky riffs! And chunky riffs are what I love! :)

    The XLR Emulated Line Out of the amp already has an IR of a SM57... Why are you using other IRs and how are you capturing it?

    • @cosmicprison9819
      @cosmicprison9819 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carlos Dimas I've been recording with the XLR line out initially, but ended up recording everything again with an SM58 Beta in front of the speaker cabinet. The line out lacks both top-end clarity and low-end punch. Even if you put an actual SM57 (I don't have one) in front of the cab, I'm sure you'll immediately hear the difference.

      All of my amps will recieve this 'in-depth' treatment at some point. I currently have 26 amps so I won't be able to go through them all quickly haha. Amps with only one channel or two will get more drive/boost pedal usage.

    GREAT!!! Does it have a good tone if the power is not turned up a lot? For a rehearsal room does it sound good or do you recommend reducing the power so that it has a good saturating tone? It is a pity that they did not release one with the same channels and features but 50 watts
